Ever since the advent of the internet, many outstanding projects or platforms have come to limelight, Facebook, Blockchain etc. The internet is simply the tool which connects people, things anywhere in the world. Taking the blockchain as the case study, blockchain technology has been evolving tremendously, finding wide applications in varieties of platforms, systems etc. Thus, since the internet is the infrastructure which connects all blockchain nodes, that is to say, the security of all decentralized applications and cryptocurrencies associated with blockchain needs to be taken into consideration.

This is true because blockchain technology presented a system or feature which is against the norm in the world today, that is "decentralization". This is a system or feature which makes any platform based on blockchain to be free from data manipulation of all sorts, a system or feature where users will be opportune to be the master of their personal data, a system which the world government and financial services hate, a system which needs to be protected from all forms of harm which might be launched by certain Individuals with the purpose of either making blockchain centralized, regulating it the way they like or undermining it entirely.

Although a study has shown that to compromise blockchain it will cost the following which has been proven to be difficult;

a. To hack blockchain, the hackers need at least 51% harsh power or 51% of the mining rate.

b. The cost of such computing power which can be used to hack blockchain is expensive ranging from $336-$490,000 per one-hour attack.

But at the same time, some blockchains have been victims of such attacks, which might confirm the saying "any system made by a person, can be hacked by another". (https://cointelegraph.com/news/immutability-in-doubt-do-we-need-to-protect-blockchain-data).

But yet, with proper analysis, right tools and the right team, blockchains can be protected and these circumstances can be curtailed. So to the question, YES BLOCKCHAIN DO NEEDS PROTECTION.

Thus the need for a platform like MULTIVEN.

THE WAY OUT (SOLUTION)

With a platform like Multiven, blockchain will attain the required level of security deemed for it. Multiven is certainly the world's first and only independent provider of decentralized software integrity maintenance and cyber defence services for all network, which is not linked to any political parties. The services offered by Multiven is not limited to any hardware and software systems. Multiven being in agreement with the motives of blockchain and cryptocurrencies such as transparency, freedom etc aims to present solutions which will further enhance the security of accompanying nodes as well as its full decentralization in the internet space, at the same time strengthening all nodes within the earth surface from cyber attacks or data breaches.

WHY MULTIVEN?

Multiven is a well-established platform founded in 2005 by a former Cisco Systems' Technical Leader for IOS known as Peter Alfred-Adekeye. Cisco Systems' is the software running about 75% of the Internet Infrastructure.

Multiven is filled with renowned personnel with its services being powered by a team of elite internet network experts, cryptographers etc all which amounted to 1200 experts. These personnel are experts in their respective fields from 55 countries thus making up Pingsta ( a subsidiary of Multiven) and contributing to Multiven's AI engine called mySolvr.

Multiven's aim is to one day, use mySolvr to automatically heal 99% of internet technologies, software etc.

Multiven is the world's first open marketplace based on blockchain technology with the sole aim of disrupting the current IT products and services industry by enabling the buying and selling of new and used IT equipment on a peer-to-peer basis, decentralizing the purchasing of such equipment as well as reducing the cost up to 75%. All these are carried out with the aid of smart contracts, thus, in the long run, becoming the one-stop-shop offering hardware, software and cyber defence services.

MULTIVEN TOKEN AND ICO INFORMATION

The Multiven token is known as Multicoin (MTC). MTC is an ERC20 token built on Ethereum blockchain with a total supply of 2,000,000,000. MTC will be used to carry out transactions within the Multiven Open Marketplace (MOM).

CONCLUSION

Blockchain technology has revolutionized this current era through the introduction of decentralization, a feature which makes blockchain outstanding as well as contributing to its security. Owing to the benefits associated with blockchain and it's goals in the world at large a platform like Multiven aims to help enhance the security, availability and reliability of this technology.
