Minds Value Proposition

The value of a social media platform is the total number of users. Real. Active.

The main (and only) question then becomes how do you attract users?

The people of Minds think that sharing the "wealth" via tokens, privacy, and lack of censorship are the keys and base their business model on these.

How many people are here on Minds to make money? Has anyone (other than Minds) made any money? I'm not here on Minds to make any money, and I suspect the vast majority of Minds users have other real jobs to support themselves. They're not here on Minds to make money.

I'm here on Minds for the privacy and "lack" of censorship. Minds has censorship to please others (for example, the owners of the apps platforms they are on) and to attract users. Fortunately, Minds censorship is a lot less than other social media platforms.

People join social media platforms for interaction with others. Communication. Easily and without any hassle. And more importantly, without censorship.

Minds offers its users the capability to block other channels, but I don't believe this applies to boosted posts. I suggest that Minds also apply blocking to boosted posts from channels they've blocked.

Hiding of boosted posts are only available to Minds Plus users. I suggest that Minds make this feature available to all Minds users.

I believe that these 2 suggestions will enhance users' control of what they see and hear in Minds. A good thing for Minds users.

And also good for Minds except that it runs contrary to their existing business model. Is the existing Minds business model working to attract more users?
