Level01: Pioneering The Decentralization of Derivative Exchange Platforms

Of course, it will be transparent, meaning, all pertinent info concerning transactions can be reviewed and inspected on the blockchain. To begin trading, the investor will first choose the category of asset, which can either be Forex or Cryptocurrency, and then decide on the asset market, i.e. USD/EUR or Ethereum. The next step is to define the expiry, strike price, position, and total value. The investor may alternatively select an already existing options contract to serve as matching counterparty. All these info will be delivered to the Level01 smart contract on the blockchain, and the smart contract, with permission from both parties, will perform the trade settlement once the option contract matures or expires. The settlement will be done automatically and transparently.

The Level01 smart app will be powered by the Level01 Exchange (LVX) token. LVX is an ERC23 token, automated by smart contracts. It is a value and utility token combined, meaning, it can be used as a medium of value of exchange and at the same time, work to increase the functionality of the platform. Users may host trading tournaments to earn commissions by staking LVX tokens, or they can also utilize the tokens to organize tournaments.
