Octoberween 2024 Video Weekend: tangomushi - The Rise and Fall of the Clock Tower Franchise & NightCry

Good Evening everyone,

Another week down, another Octoberween Video Weekend for 2024. Last week I shared some old skool FPS halloween themed videos by one YouTuber I learned of during rehab, so I decided to continue the trend with this week as well. Happened upon this YouTuber when I was looking into how many Clock Tower games there were in the franchise. JonTron can only tide me over for so long with the SNES antics. 

YouTuber tangomushi caught my attention with her breakdown with what began and ended with the Clock Tower I later learned she covers alot more when it comes to classic survival horror, especially when it comes to my beloved Fatal Frame Series.  Her info seemed precise and the videos I watched were entertaining so I thought I'd share her work on what I've learned. A pity Clock Tower hasn't seen much action but those were the days.

I had vaguely heard about NightCry but I never looked more into it since it seemed to drop off my radar over time. Little did I realize the reasons why it did. Such a disappointment. Perhaps some series should remain dead and buried.
