Book raises questions - who wants transgenderism and why?

Abigail is extremely well informed and Prof.Peterson's way of challenging her with exactly the kind of objections that are to be expected from the insane people who push Transgenderism is a perfect illustration of how true scientists work: they invite criticism, even scathing criticism, as that is the only way to advance towards a better understanding of reality.
So as they observe, in more and more western countries, we are at a point where doctors and psychologists are told to behave like co-dependent alcoholics and to indulge in their patients' delusions rather than help them overcome their mental health issues.
There's a mental disorder that is somewhat similar to gender dysphoria: xenomelia. Afflicted individuals believe that one or more of of their limbs are "alien" and should be removed. Naturally, not a single doctor who wants to keep his medical licence and who stays true to his Hippocratic oath would indulge such a patient. But when the "problem" are a person's primary and secondary sexual organs, those rules apparently no longer apply and it is somehow acceptable to amputate them.
Yes, medical doctors will administer hormone treatments and amputate breasts and penises simply because a young person thinks that they are of the opposite sex. This is so insane that there has to be a root cause - and of course there is.
When I first heard about this about 15 years ago, I thought it was a fringe idea that would disappear as quickly as it had appeared. I failed to understand how easy it is to manipulate children and teenagers through a coordinated effort as long as the manipulators can control the education system, the media and even the entertainment sector. This was clearly the case for the transgender movement. The level of influence the promoters hold is breathtaking. They could influence the kind of teachers who should be hired, the educational methods, children's shows etc.
Upsetting the oppression olympics
One of the most amazing aspects of the Transgender movement is how it managed to supersede both, women's rights and homosexual rights. If gender is whatever you think you are, then how can women or homosexuals have special rights? If you are a white heterosexual man, you are the absolute oppressor, according to the Marxist Critical Theory, but by saying magical words, you can become a "trans woman" and are suddenly at the top of the oppression olympics hierarchy. You do not even need to undergo any treatment, you can just declare that you feel that your gender is not what it seems to be.
"Transgender women", aka men, are allowed to replace women in sports and apparently in positions that are controlled by female quotas. Even if they didn't undergo any "transitioning", they may enter women's bath rooms, women's changing rooms and they may expose themselves before women. and young girls.
They can even be sent to women's only prisons, which then leads to female prisoners bizerrely getting pregnant, because the non-transitioned fake "female" has a perfectly working male organ.
When feminist women insist that women's rights should only apply to biological women, they are called "TERFS" (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) and are viciously attacked. This even happened to J.K.Rowling, the author of "Harry Potter", simply for defending a woman's right to say that a man is not a woman, although she obviously could not be "cancelled" and no one was going to take her to court.
In a baffling demonstration of just how much the victim olympics pyramid has been upended, lesbians who do not want to sleep with men who pretend to be women are called "intolerant" and "transphobic". Among the early promoters of Transgenderism, one finds Pritzker heirs in Chicago, mostly Jennifer N. Pritzker (a "transgender"). They gave tens of millions of dollars to the university of Chicago and other institutions to fund "gender research", "gender transitioning". The university has had a Pritzker medical center for a very long time, so the university was eager to please the Prietzkers.

You won't be surprised to find the Open Society involved in this since about 2006, as explained by Michael Biggs, an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Oxford. He seemed really embarrassed about his own findings and insisted heavily that he is not some "far right fringe lunatic" let alone antisemitic, but that the evidence was incontrovertible.

"Transitioning" was heavily promoted by the Travistock clinic in the UK is also significant, given their ideological ties. They went so far as to prescribe hormone treatments after a simple phone interview. Hundreds of autistic childen in the UK were midiagnosed as "transgender" by them.
A little tour on the WEF's web site shows that they, too, heavily promote the transgender movement, now also in their role as UN Partner. They signed a partnership agreement with the UN in June 2019. In their official announcement, they explain that their role is to help the UN to implement the Agenda 2030:
In 2020, the WEF's founder Klaus Schwab published the book "COVID-19: The Great Reset". The principal author of that book is Yuval Noah Harari. He's a prolific writer and speaker who promotes transhumanism. One of his key phrases is "What do we need so many humans for?"
At this point, it becomes clear that the "transgender" movement is closely associated with the Agenda 2030 and the Great Reset, which include a depopulation program.

The idea of promoting homosexuality as a way to limit population growth is actually quite old. It appeared in several science fiction novels from the 1960s to the 1970s. That explains why the openly Marxist LGBT movement is so heavily promoted, although they represent just about 2-4% of the population. But that was not enough, because lesbian women are perfectly capable of having their own children and many do. This is why those who promote this agenda switched to transgenderism, as it sterilizes their victims outright - ideally at a young age. And the main target are women. Even if 50% of all men were sterilized, it would not mean that women would have fewer children, just that they would have to "share" men, which many already do.
The pathological mindset of genocide promoters
It is really worth looking into the pathological mindset of those who try to promote such an agenda - it's an abyss.

Yes, that's right: WHO worked on "vaccines" that were supposed to sterilize women. Again, not a conspiracy, but an official program.
Given Bill Gates' own obsession with vaccines, it might be worth mentioning that Bill Gates' parents - who were already wealthy enough to donate an entire building to Stanford University - heavily supported Planned Parenthood, an organization that promoted eugenics, founded by Margaret Sanger, a woman who was openly racist and antisemitic.
There are a lot of good reasons to accept abortion under reasonable rules and conditions. We've had this debate in Switzerland and legal abortion during the first 12 week was accepted via referendum (like all important issues), but the law includes the demand that the prospective mother has to consult a doctor to be fully informed on all the medical implications and explore her options. But that's not what abortion activists in the US promote - they want on-demand abortion up to the moment of birth. They even push for the right to infanticide. Any limitation is treated like an attack on women's rights, which is again utterly iinsane, yet a position that is extremely well funded & politically promoted.
All western countries as well as China, Japan, South Korea and Iran, among others, experience a significant population decline. Only a small number of countries still experience significant population growth, e.g. Pakistan and several countries in Africa. The demand for adoption in the US far exceeds children available for adoption. It would seem that infanticide should not be on anyone's political agenda, much less the promotion of Transgenderism.
Yet here we are... individuals and organizations with a combined wealth in the trillions of dollars push for a massive population reduction, apparently motivated by a Malthusian worldview.
It is particularly appalling to hear people widely considered as "humanitarian" promoting genocide.

It seems obvious that both like animals more than they like human beings. Do the majority of the people on this planet realize that these pseudo-elites consider them as undesirables?
The attempt to stop someone else from having children is considered as a direct attack on their human rights and when an entire population is targeted, it is considered an act of genocide.
The opposition
Elon Musk adopts exactly the opposite view: he thinks that we need more human beings, as his vision of the future includes the colonization of the entire solar system and beyond.
