For your run as a U. S. Senator for Michigan. https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1168268254876352512 People at times change. Can you speak to the voters on who and what you stand for and stood for as a candidate for the Democrat Party primary? Please introduce yourself to those you want to reach in Michigan.
*As a past candidate for state representative, what laws would you introduce or change to help Michigan?
-I would have introduced a restructuring of current vehicle license plate fees to be based on current value of the vehicle, rather than its original value, as it presently is based on. I would have also introduced education funding restructuring to be equal per pupil, not based on property values or other socioeconomic factors that would unfairly support more affluent communities.
*As a past candidate for state representative, what policies would you change from state taxation to imprisonment of people using drugs?
-I would have advocated for decriminalization of nonprescription drug use and an increase in funding for substance abuse treatment & prevention.
*As a past candidate for state representative, what have you done on these issues? Meaning have you written up a bill that your voters can read and agree with?
-Considering that I was not elected, I have never had the opportunity to write up any specific bills, but if given the opportunity, many voters would be able to read & agree with.
*As a past candidate for state representative, how would you help those in need of help in Michigan?
-As a non-corporate candidate with zero conflicts of interest, I would have been able to effectively advocate for more individual help and less corporate subsidies.
*Who are you supporting for other Green or Libertarian candidates in Michigan?
-Although I support the right of minor parties to exist & run candidates, I am not currently advocating for any specific 3rd party candidates at this time.
*How have you supported world Peace and what is your message to Michigan on wars that the US is involved with?
-As a noncorporate candidate, I have zero conflicts of interest, so would be able to advocate for peace more effectively than politicians who accept donations from the military industrial complex.
