Eric Reingrover, thank you for this interview. My readers might not know much about you.

First, let me take this opportunity to Thank You for this interview. I am honored to answer these questions. Can you tell us a story on how you got your start in entertainment? I got into the entertainment industry via Universal Studios Hollywood actually. I began taking some acting classes where I live and to learn the craft back in 2017 and a friend told me Universal was hiring for their new, The Walking Dead Walkthrough Attraction. So I auditioned and my very first acting role, technically was in a theater type setting because it was live-action. What got me into acting was the sheer notion of being able to entertain people, Make them laugh, smile etc. I also love the idea of being able to be somebody else on screen, to bring their story to life and tell it through me. Acting also isn't your normal 9-5, everyday job, it changes all the time.

Do you have a story you wish everyone knew?

A story I can share is, I am actually a retired Corrections Officer with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. I used to work at the infamous “ Chino Men’s” facility in Chino, California. I sustained a career-ending injury where I required a double spinal-fusion surgery. I was responding to an alarm in the prison when I slipped and fell down a flight of wet steps and twisted my back really bad.

Can you talk about your movie How To Kill Your Roommates and Get Away With It and which platforms will show it..?

How To Kill Your Roommates and Get Away With It’s a story about a girl, Ellie, who’s trying to get through college and just make it through life, and lives with 2 other roommates, me and my girlfriend, April,, who are just lazy loafers, they do nothing, party all the time, etc. Well, Ellie is tired of us and her BFF who is in love with her, schemes up different ideas on how to kill us and get rid of us. But..... as the film progresses things don't work out that way and take a turn for the worst. I don't want to spoil it for everyone, so please go watch the film and I promise you’ll be entertained from start to finish! This is my first feature film Lead role, Directed by my friend, Pat Kusnadi. Can you talk about any current movie you are doing?

Currently, I’m working on producing my very first feature film, called “ Beyond Mosul ”. It’s a military drama, based on a true events, and ISIS’ siege and genocide of the Yezidi people in 2014 after the withdrawal of coalition forces. It’s a really cool story, and resembles Inglourious Basterds in the sense that we have 4 character stories that run concurrently with each other and ALL touch on their own struggles with PTSD. Can't say much more than that but it's going to be a great film.

What can you tell us which project you had the most fun and a story about that project

A couple projects that I had the most fun on was CBS SEAL TEAM. I got to get dressed up as a Navy SEAL with M4’s and the whole get-up, and got to work a scene with the main actors where we brought home a fallen soldier in the rain. That scene tugged on a heartstring for sure. The second is How To Kill Your Roommates and Get Away With It, because I was literally walking around the set in my boxer briefs three quarters of the time lol. Never had done that in my life before!!

Can you tell us who inspires you as an entertainer

My wife is my inspiration. She has always supported me from the idea of committing myself to acting, to where I am today. She helps me do everything to prepare myself for a role. She is my rock and the one person I count on most to drive me and push me farther than where I thought I could go in the industry.

What are your dreams? Who you hope to work with in your career.

My ultimate dream is to work with Tom Hardy. I have followed his work for a long time, and I would feel accpm[lished as an Actor to be in a film with him. He works very hard to be the best at his craft, and to have the opportunity to work alongside someone of his caliber on screen, would be heaven for me!! If anyone knows Tom Hardy, tell him to give me a call hahahahahaha.

What charity do you currently work with?

I do not currently work with any charities, but, I would love to work with the Gary Sinise Foundation, to help our nation’s Veterans. They deserve our utmost gratitude and help for putting their lives on the line so we can sleep in peace. We owe them everything! What advice would you give to aspiring actors/actresses? 9- The best advice I would give to any aspiring actor or actress, would be to NEVER give up. Keep fighting, keep pushing through the hard times, because believe me, there's going to be, but that doesn't just quit. If entertainment is where you want to be, then do your homework, do your research, and just get on set!! Most of all, have fun with it, and enjoy the ride!

Eric Reingrover was born September 1984 in Southern California and has one older brother. Eric is the son of Timothy and Jane Reingrover. His father was born in Pennsylvania, and his mother was born in Southern California. Both of his parents are of German and Irish ancestry. At age 21, Eric pursued a career in Law Enforcement with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation where he tenured two Institutions, one Maximum Security Institution, and one Minimum Security/Reception Center. Once he left law enforcement behind, he began to work with Universal Studios Hollywood which ignited his passion further for performing and character acting. This has led Eric to a path in the entertainment industry, acting in shows for networks such as Investigation Discovery, Oxygen Network, INSP, and ABC.
