Interview with Saint Heart

Saint Heart, thank you for this interview. My readers might not know much about you.

Your career is impressive. Can you tell us a story on how you got your start in entertainment, and what got you into producing? https://m.imdb.com/name/nm5017177
Do you have a story you wish everyone knew? Could you share i with us?

For many years, I've been a singer and songwriter, crafting beautiful music for the world to enjoy. Now, however, I have taken my art to a new level by becoming an actress. I had always wanted to act since I was a child, but never felt brave enough to take the plunge. Then one day, during Covid it hit me - why not try acting? Why not use my creative energies to bring characters and stories to life?  So I did it. I took every opportunity that came my way and used it as a chance to hone my craft. it's truly become a complete circle!

Can you talk about your project currently in 2022 and which platform or television channel will show it?

My lead role panic in the sci-fi thriller action romance movie, directed by the esteemed Gregory Hatanaka, was an amazing experience and so much fun. I had to learn a variety of lines and really become my character. It was a truly unforgettable first time lead role. To get into the mind of my character and make them come alive on screen, I did a lot of research for inspiration, which included studying Milla Jovovich's performance in The Fourth Kind as well as Jennifer Carpenter's portrayal of Emily Rose in The Exorcism of Emily Rose. 

Can you talk about any current movie being released 2022? 

Amityville Apartment, the highly anticipated horror thriller directed by Alex Hwang, is slated for release in 2023 on Amazon Prime and Tubi. The movie promises to have viewers on the edge of their seats as they follow the story of a haunted apartment complex. In this anthology style movie, each episode will focus on a new group of tenants and their terrifying experiences with the supernatural forces that lurk within the building's walls.  The film, which promises to be truly chilling and incredibly suspenseful, will take you deep into the recesses of fear. With allusions to some of horror's most classic tropes such as jump scares, eerie music and scenes of terror and bloodshed, Amityville Apartment will leave you wanting more at every turn. 

What can you tell us about which project you had the most fun on and a story about that project?

The most fun I had on a project was when I got to play the role of a Russian assassin named Juliet in an upcoming movie called 'Another Way To Die'. Directed by Gregory Hatanaka, this thrilling movie is set for release in 2023 on Amazon Prime. It was exciting to learn how to do stunts and use fake guns for the action-packed scenes, and it truly felt like living out one's dreams. I had the opportunity to work with some of the best stunt instructors, who taught me various techniques that make those scenes look so realistic.  I also enjoyed getting into character as Juliet – learning her backstory, understanding her motivations and rehearsing lines before shooting began. All in all, this project has been one of my most memorable experiences and I cannot wait for everyone to watch 'Another Way To Die' when it comes out soon!

Can you tell us who or what inspires you as an entertainer?

My mom has always been a source of inspiration for me to do my absolute best and keep striving towards my dreams, no matter how big they may be. She taught me that if I'm willing to put in the hard work and never give up, anything is possible. From her examples of dedication and perseverance, I've learned that if I stay focused and determined, I can achieve whatever it is that I set my mind to.  

Can you tell a story about your other work or what is next?

So what's next for me is going to be a massive undertaking. I'm aiming to release my debut album in 2023, and have been working hard on the project for some time now. As part of this process, I've been writing and recording new music for it, which will hopefully provide listeners with a unique listening experience. Alongside this album release, I'm also looking forward to get booked on some A-list projects that could help get my music out there and widen its reach. With the right amount of dedication and hard work, with these efforts will help me make a lasting impression in the music industry and film industry.  

Who are some people in entertainment that you have worked with?

I have had the pleasure of working with Andrew Lane, a multi-platinum award winning music producer and Bud'da, an Emmy and Grammy winner Gregory Hatanka, a very well-known film director. 

Dreams: what are your dreams? Meaning who or what project would you hope to work with or be a part of in the future?

It would be an absolute dream come true for me to work with Quentin Tarantino and Ryan Murphy on American Horror Story, collaborating with the incomparable talents of Evan Peters and Johnny Depp. Margot Robbie is a force of nature in her performances - she's so captivating to watch, and I've learned so much from studying her craft. If I could make my ultimate dream project come alive, it would be a musical movie like Lady Gaga's A Star is Born. Combining music and film into one project is something that I have always been passionate about - the idea of creating something so emotive and powerful brings out a passion in me that I haven't felt anywhere else.

Ms. Saint Heart, the classic question: what charity do you work with and can you provide a link to it so others can see too please.

I have had the privilege of doing charity work for Los Angeles Children's Hospital for many years, where I would go into the patient rooms and sing for the children who were ill. These moments always served to bring joy, laughter, and a sense of being loved - even if only for just a little while. Before Covid-19 hit, these visits were regular occurrences, but due to the unprecedented pandemic, my visits have been suspended until recently. Thankfully though, it seems that things are slowly returning to normal and I'll be able to resume my visits to young patients very soon. 

What advice would you give aspiring actors/actresses?

The best advice I could give aspiring actresses and performers is to step out of their comfort zone and to never be afraid of going after their dreams. Take risks, no matter how daunting they may seem, in order to achieve success. Life often gives us opportunities that can benefit us greatly – it's up to us to find them and make the most of them. Even if you face failure or rejection in your career, don't let it stop you from moving forward. Instead use it as a learning experience and motivation to get better and work harder. 

A final question. What question do you wish I had asked? And what would the answer be?

I believe the questions of a dreamer have been sufficiently narrowed down and I am grateful for this opportunity to contribute. This is a very exciting subject and I thoroughly enjoy delving into the unknown to learn more. A dreamer, by definition, is someone who has hopes, aspirations and ambitions that they pursue with great enthusiasm. They are often people from all walks of life that want something better for themselves, their family and their future. Dreamers set goals, think outside the box and strive to make those dreams reality.

Saint Heart has always an ambitious dreamer. She had grown up in Austin, Texas, a city of vibrant culture and creativity, but it wasn't quite enough for her. She wanted to make something of herself that would be remembered around the world - so she decided to move to Los Angeles.

It was there that Saint Heart found her true calling as a pop artist and performer. With powerful vocals and captivating lyrics, she quickly gained attention from industry insiders who saw great potential in her talent. It wasn't long before her single "Nobody" hit the airwaves - and soon after that, it began to dominate charts worldwide. She is also a Grammy member and has attended the Grammys multiple times gracing her presents with her amazing fashion and creativity. She performed to Comic Con right before the pandemic made a huge splash and made fans from all over the world.

But what many people don't know is that Saint Heart also has another passion: acting! In 2023 she will star in the thriller sci-fi movie "Panic" directed by Gregory Hatanka; but until then you can stream "Wicked Game" on Amazon Prime or Tubi where she plays lead actress alongside some major Hollywood stars.
