Interview with Walt Hochbrueckner

Walt Hochbrueckner, thank you for this interview. My readers will not know you. Can you please provide details about yourself? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2514266/

Mr. Hochbrueckner, most recently been part of The Paradise Motel. Can you talk about the story in the movie?

The story is about a battered wife on the run trying to find her paradise and discovers that paradise isn’t always. Nothing is how it seems. Also, what platforms can people view your film online? I’m intending to place it on Vimeo and some of the streaming networks. And are they in any film festivals? I will be submitting to as many festivals as I possibly can as I feel that all the elements are there: good writing, acting and an overall good movie.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, everyone has a story to tell. What one story do you wish everyone knew about you?

That my wife and I climbed up to Kalapatar which is 1000 ft higher than Mt. Everest basecamp and that she and I are avid hikers.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, what book or movies have you been reading or watching?

Mostly, I’ve been watching TV series like Goliath, Bosch and Michael Connelly’s books, Call My Agent, Grace and Frankie…the list goes on and on. And, of course, all the films up for the SAG-AFTRA and Academy Awards. Meaning I am using this interview to find new books or films to watch. What have you been doing? Mostly, learning in honing my editing, writing and acting skills. I’m doing a lot of hiking and come up with a good portion of my story ideas while doing so most of the time.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, can you talk about your other work in production concerning

The Paradise Motel? Are you planning to try any film festivals or are they going to be directly released? I’m going to ne submitting The Paradise Motel trailer to various festivals as well. The script has already won nine awards and counting.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, what are you doing to relieve stress during this time of home lockdown?

Mostly hiking and listening to music to relax me and, in some cases, inspire me. Dreams: what project or script or actor or actress would be a dream for you to get to work with? I would love to work with Dolly Parton. She is fabulous and I hear she is wonderful to work with. I strive to work with good people on every level and with great personalities. It just makes the job more fun and easier.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, the classic question: what charity do you work with and can you provide a link to it so others can see too please.

I would like to work with Planned Parenthood as they need all the help and support, they can get.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, you are an director / writer too. Can you please tell my readers about your books?

I don’t have any books out there but I wrote a number of short stories in the day and perhaps I will publish them someday too but, right now, I’m too busy, writing scripts, acting, directing and editing to even think about it.

Mr. Hochbrueckner, what question do you wish I had asked?

How about where do I think I will find myself in five years. And what is the answer to that question?

I’m hoping to be directing a major feature film with myself in a cameo acting roll aka Alfred Hitchcock. As for acting, ditto. A lead role in a major motion picture would be the epitome of my acting career.

Walt Hochbrueckner

Bio 01-18-2022 Walter became involved with acting as a teenager but didn’t begin to act seriously until he after he retired from producing and programming at various computer game companies twenty years ago. During those years he honed his skills as an actor and a director working with those companies. After acting for ten years, he released his first short film, “Love Carries”, where he wrote, acted, directed and sang. Five years later he released a short film, “The Sins of The…” Both films won many awards for directing, acting, writing and music. He has kept acting throughout that time and continues to work as both an actor and a director. His current project, “The Paradise Motel”, is his first feature film where he directs, acts and had written as well and has picked up nine awards and counting for the script. He suspects that still more will be coming along for this feature film, both in the festival circuit, the theaters and, ultimately, on-demand through streaming media. https://www.minds.com/Talon123/blog/interviews-with-an-infamous-clinton-r-siegle-1140340962022912000
