I had a blast working on DREAMER 2023. It was super fantastic to have my husband Leo Zemke and my son Dylan Cole working on the project also as well as the younger kids I am raising Kensley, Anna and Jackson. We got to incorporate my 1949 Ferris Wheel that we bought and refurbished. Besides films and family amusement park and carnival rides are my passion! We used the ferris wheel in our scenes and we got to ride it also. The kids loved working on the film and Dylan loved directing. The cherry on the cake was you and Dylan both winning awards for the film. I believe 100 percent in inclusivity and diversity in films and all aspects of life. It was such a pleasure to work on a project that showcases People with various challenges making a great piece of art like DREAMER 2023.
Were you surprised at the number of film festival selections and awards?
I am very pleasantly surprised by the awards. It does not surprise me that so many people are so open and welcome to the film DREAMER 2023 and they feel that the talent involved were worthy of being awarded. I am very happy to have been involved in any way. Thank you.6

Kimberly, envisioning future Easterseal Film Challenges in 2024, if there were to be a theme centered around comedy couples, how would you personally approach participating in such a project? Additionally, what aspects of disability inclusion and humor do you think could be explored and celebrated in a light-hearted and comedic manner?
Good evening Clinton, it is always good to catch up with you and talk about films. I very much enjoyed working with you on your vision for the Easterseal Film Challenge in 2023! I feel that your idea entitled DREAMER was a fantastic choice and it was so much fun to work on it. Having my husband Leo Zemke and my son Dylan Cole involved was just icing on the cake. Thank you for allowing us to participate. The fact that you and my son Dylan Cole won awards just makes me so very proud and happy about our involvement. My husband Leo Zemke is a 100 percent disabled Veteran who was also very happy to work on this film. It was for such a noble cause. Easterseals has done so much good work down through the years and they are still going strong. My husband has to overcome so many challenges in his life but he meets every challenge with dignity and humor. My husband Leo has the best sense of humor so I know he will be perfect for your idea for 2024. We are excited and raring to go!! I think as long as any subject manner is handled in a dignified and respectful manner that we can all make a fun and humorous film.
In "Doomsday Stories," you portrayed the character Linda. Could you share some personal insights into how you approached and prepared for this specific role in the film?
I absolutely loved working with Phil Herman on DOOMSDAY STORIES. I have been lucky to work with him quite a few times in the past on HORRORTALES part 1, 2, and 3. My character actually writes the Doomsday Journals in the film so that was pretty cool. My character does not survive long unfortunately but you have to see the film to see what happens.haha One humorous tidbit from behind the scenes. My scenes were filmed in a very small wooded area and we just walked around and around many times in the small camping area and through the magic of film we made it look like a huge forest.haha
In "Horrortales.666 Part 3," you played the role of Karen. What personally intrigued you about this particular project, and how did you navigate the challenges presented by your character in the storyline?
Any time I get the chance to work with Phil Herman it is an absolute joy. He is so nice and talented and easy to work with. I was blessed to be a part of parts 1 through 3. My parts are small but hopefully I touched someone with my part of the film.haha I have to say that my favorite part of any of the 3 was playing the hapless low budget actress who is being attacked by SCHLOMO THE GIANT CLOWN. It really is a hilarious part and I got to write my scenes and my own dialogue.
As Ellie Harper in "Bridge of the Doomed," could you personally tell us about your experience working on this film? What aspects of your character did you find most compelling?
BRIDGE OF THE DOOMED was my very first MAHAL EMPIRE FILM. It was the first time I got to work with Michael and Sonny Mahal. We filmed in Caliente, Nevada on a huge sprawling ranch that was covered in old train cars and giant equipment and rusted cranes etc… It was so much fun there. It was also very cold in the mornings and at night. It was the first time I had acted in a long time and I was very nervous but when I heard my cue and I jumped up from the picnic table in the survivor camp where all the survivor’s of the zombie apocalypse were living and ran over to push another character out of the way and start yelling my dialogue at the military personnel, I knew I was back where I was supposed to be. I had several crew and cast tell me that my acting was good. That meant so much to me! My character was tough and gritty and mean I think that was the most compelling thing about my character because I am a really nice person in real life. I got to die horribly in the end and I also got to work with Jason O’Neil the stunt coordinator and do several of my own stunts. GOOD TIMES!!!!
As an actress in "The Bermuda Triangle Project," embodying Judy Benson, what are your personal thoughts on being part of a film centered around such a mysterious and iconic phenomenon?
I enjoyed working on The Bermuda Triangle Project because I got to work with Dan DeLuca from the WIRE. He was an amazing actor and our main scene was ad libbed. My sweet 82 year old Mummy played the Mum to Sean Whalen from The People Under the Stairs and TWISTER. We filmed in Fort Myers Florida which is where a lot of the scenes from my all time favorite film was made. DAY OF THE DEAD from George Romero is my absolute number one favorite film so this was a special shoot for me.
In "Numbers," where you were credited as #7 Kim, what personally was the most memorable part of working with Michael Madsen, Robert LaSardo, and Sarah French on set?
Numbers title was changed to DEATHCOUNT and it was a joy to work on. I get to die horribly. I am a gym teacher who is LGBTQ and I do not take directions well. I have my wardrobe from this film on a manniquin in my bedroom.haha I absolutely loved the cast. They are all fantastic actors and actresses. This was the second time I got to work with Costas Mandylor from 5 of the 7 SAW films and also Wesley Cannon was in this film.
"Bermuda Island" featured you as Maleah. Can you provide some personal insights into your character and share any memorable moments during the filming of this project?
Bermuda Island is probably the absolute best location of any MAHAL EMPIRE SHOOT! First I got to fly out to L.A. to film the plane crash and flight scenes at SILVER DREAM STUDIOS! That is the most fascinating and cool place ever!! They have an entire plane inside a warehouse. Also a hospital and a jail etc…Then we got to fly to the Island of Vieques which is nine miles off the coast of Puerto Rico and is one of the most beautiful places on the planet!!! We filmed for about two weeks there. It was an amazing place! Horses and chickens and goats and iguanas and cats etc… just roam the island freely. It is a heavenly place. So then we flew home and a few months later got to fly back to San Juan, Puerto Rico to film for another ten days. About all that came out of it is a great fight and death scene in the end for me.hahaha I will say one of the coolest things was we finished filming on a private beach on a Friday and by Monday about 300 crew flew in there to film scenes for BLACK PANTHER II WAKANDA FOREVER! How cool is that?~!!!!! So just an amazing film shoot! Also filming BLOODTHIRST with the Mahal Brothers in Nelson Nevada at an old Gold Mining Town was pretty darn amazing and fun. Very very hot there. It was about 123 degrees in a basement down where the mine was and that is where I got to do my scenes with TARA REID! So amazing. I did not end up dying in the film so who knows ………maybe I will be in BLOODTHIRST PART 2!!! One more thing that film set had snakes, bats, scorpions, rats etc…. hahaha My cousin Lance Caver was an actor and he wrangled the creepy crawlies off the sets and kept us all safe. Good times on that film set!
Kimberly, being part of "Joel D. Wynkoop's the Craiglon Incident III Annihilation" as Carol Burlington, how did the collaborative experience with the cast and crew personally shape your portrayal of the character? Additionally, could you share some personal thoughts on the film's unique storyline?
I love working with Joel D. Wynkoop. He is an amazing actor, writer, producer, comedian etc… working with him was fun but my part was very very small so not a lot to say about it. I am thankful for the part and many blessings to Joel and cast and crew.
