Bringing every room back to 'ready' is another action that takes you no time. You can 'tidy' your workspace -close your laptop, arrange your documents, wash your coffee mug when ending the work day. This way your workspace is ready for a new day. 3. Start a one line gratitude journal. Before bed, simply jot down one happy memory from that day. If you have kids, you can get them involved too. Reflection is an important part of happiness, and pausing to reflect on a positive event from each day cultivates gratitude. 4. Before getting up each morning, set an intent for the day. It can be as simple as "be productive" or "enjoy today’s delicious moments" but it should not be another "to do" item on your list. Quick ways to improve your attitude: 5.
