The Day I put Muniez over Standards: A Short Response to @RhetoricalHypothetical

In one of his recent Blogs RhetHypo laid out a small harassment campaign against him over a political disagreement.

I want to quickly explain my part in this little mess. Some people would say that I overdo it with this Blog. No need to turn a Fly into an Elephant. Still, I feel obliged to explain myself proper. It may just have been small drama, but it was Drama nonetheless.

For sake of structure I will quote the original Block (found here) and directly afterwards write my response and explanation, if there needs to be one.

Here I go: (Quotations from the Original Blog are in cursive)

"But here's the interesting part... a few more of these duplicates were posted later. By someone else. An account by the name of YayoThe0ne, someone I had never come in contact with before. Because I had no real patience for this nonsense at this point, I deleted the comments and just blocked him."

I was contacted out of the Blue by the Person RhetHypo's Blog is about. For posting two memes on a guys Post I could receive a Token (and later a share/remind, which was my idea. I truly am a master negotiator).

I said: Sure. I like having the occasional Fun, so I thought nothing of it. I had no prior problems with either of the parties, so I thought "why not" and did as he said.

I, of course, should have done more research on the background of the feud I blindly stumbled into, but well...I didn't.

"I wasn't sure at the time if Yayo was just a sock account, but now I'm convinced he/she(idk, I didn't see any clear indicator, pretty sure it's she) isn't. I checked her account, and I realized she also writes fiction! Some of it could use work in the formatting department, but a quick skim at least convinces me the account is likely legitimate. As does some other... interesting facets..."

Thanks for the quick improvement suggestion of my work ^^. Often times I ponder about how original the stuff is I post. I hate just reminding stuff without adding something. Most of the time I have nothing to add and then remind without adding anything anyway. It makes me feel like a glorified Bot-Account sometimes.

I force myself to pretend that I am quirky and witty. Wishing I am the Characters of my Short Stories. At the end of the day though, I only leave the impression of a Blender on others. Or, at worst, as a non-genuine person.

My lacking English Skills don't help either.

From the Original Blog

"It seems that Havik wired a token to Yayo. That's interesting. Why out of the blue like that?"

I just can't help but thank everyone who wires me a Token or two. It makes me feel appreciated. Even if it is for posting memes to annoy somebody. :P

Also from Original Blog

"Oh, and reminding a post? Wow, Havik found a new account that he must really love! What a nice guy, sending a wire and reminding a post completely spontaneously with no strings attached! Hmm, but what's this? Shortly before being wired a token, Yayo posted those aforementioned memes that I had blocked Havik from posting?"

Nothing more to add here. Your deductions have been on the Spot. I would be a terrible Bond Villain. Just blurting out my entire plan in front of the hero...wait.

I am skipping a few paragraphs of the Original Post, because I only want to go through my involvement.

"Sure, maybe you are just in it for the tokens, and I can hardly hold that against you... but do you really want to be used by a known manipulator like that?"

You are right. This will be my last time accepting Tokens (which are barely worth anything) for stuff like that.

I was indeed in it only for the Tokens. Hell, I don't even know your political affiliations. I deduct from your Blog that you are at least not a Nazi. XD

That's about it. I responded to all the things about me I deemed important. Sorry if I was not able to add anything intelligent. I just felt like explaining myself.

Besides, this was a good writing exercise. ( :
