Ideologically neutral sources are below. As you'll see, they are either

1) treasure trove libraries, like PubMed which contains all the English-language biomedical articles for the last 100 years, summarized and searchable, or

2) bedrock fact, not speculation, not ideological interpretation, something like [see below] an interactive globe continuously updated showing everything from waves to weather, or a study of the last 100 years of violent and nonviolent revolutions, worldwide, showing what did and did not work, or

3) key primary sources like the actual texts of controversial treaties like NAFTA and TPP, or [see below] a way to search for the actual texts of the bills now in Congress  If you have something post that meets those criteria, we'll give you credit for the find. This is a running categorized tally of what we have posted so far, and it will automatically update.

PUBMED: PubMed comprises more than 29 million citations and summaries for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites. Fully searchable.

GUNS/2nd AMENDMENT

GUN DEATHS IN AMERICA. Discussions of guns are almost always based on cherry-picked data from one side or the other, because Congress decreed years ago that the government could not study gun deaths in America. FiveThirtyEight (the number of people in Congress) is a highly respected statistical blog rarely wrong about elections, football and basketball. Gathering statistics, analyzing them, 538 gives us the most neutral view yet.
