Justin Anderson decided to take his wheelchair to the next level and installed a snow blade onto the front of the machine, in order to plow the sidewalks and driveways in his neighborhood.
Anderson is happy to give back to the community, keeping walkways safe for adults and children. “The community has supported me immensely with my struggles and tough times as I had a leg amputated and my fight with brain cancer. This is my way of giving back,” he said. “I don't want kids or parents having to go through the snow and possibly trip or hurt themselves."
Anderson didn't expect the national attention but commented on the positive feedback he's been receiving since the story went viral.
"I had a half-dozen people stop to take a picture because they hadn't seen a chair like this before.”
