aka, the "chicken or egg" conundrum.
In general, people are consumers, producers, or intermediaries. In most cases, people are a combination of the three and it is okay to be in any category (categories.) These categorizations are also true here in MINDS.
Everyone has a story to tell. And I am very interested in hearing them. But it is okay if you don't want to tell and share your story.
Everyone also has interests and their own personal views on a variety of subjects. It is okay to have interests and views different from others. We all have the freedom and choice to ignore what we don't want.
MINDS is stil in Beta, but I am already impressed with who and what is available here. And I just joined. I'm still in discovery mode.
I joined MINDS to expand and stimulate my mind. I'm here to find new people who share my interests and expand my knowledge. There is so much we don't know. Since I've joined, I have subscribed to individuals on make me laugh, think, and desire.
I have created Groups for people to share my interests when I have found none. Or the Groups I've found are too general.
I have created Blogs (such as this one) to share my views, political and otherwise. It is okay with me if you do not agree with my views. If you would like to engage n a discourse on any of my views, I will be more than happy to do so.
I have posted, commented, and "voted up or down" posts that stimulate me positively and negatively. One advantage of being retired and an old curmudgeon is that I can say whatever I want without being politically correct and fear of reprisal.
I have always believed that you get as much as you put into anything.
I encourage you to actively participate in MINDS as a consumer, producer, and.or intermediary.
