There are tons of fat burning exercises available to us, the trick is to find the right exercise that will trigger your body to turn into fat burning mode.
This may take some experimenting but it is much better than trying to do what everyone else is doing. I often had friends come up to me and ask me what is my favorite or which one works the best of the fat burning exercises. Reality is, every person is different and what works for me may not work for you so you’ll have to be creative. You can use a good elliptical trainer or a nice punching bag for buring fat faster.
I always tell my friends that if they want to lose weight or be motivated for the gym that they should find a gym partner with similar background and body shape that way you’ll teach each other how to lose belly fat. If you go to the gym with someone much larger than you, they’ll most likely become discouraged rather quickly and won’t be as motivated to workout. Once they stop going to the gym, you’ll stop as well because you don’t have your motivator.
Additionally, it helps when people have similar backgrounds in terms of activity levels. For instance, me being a boxer, I wouldn’t go to the gym with a bowler because we both work different muscles so the fat burning workout routine we do might be beneficial for one of us and because our muscles are so used to doing those exercises, may not do anything for the other.
So, the best way to lose belly fat is to get rid of those fat burning pills and focus on exercises that shock your muscles into working extra harder than normal. This is why walking doesn’t really constitute a fat burning exercise because most of us are so accustomed to walking that our body knows how to perform it with minimal effort.My Favorite Fat Burning Exercises and Workouts
Jump rope-If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know that this fat burn exercise is my favorite! It always works for me because I constantly change up the intensity or figure out new tricks that will work different muscles in my body. Additionally, some times I’ll just reduce the rest time or jump rope for 15-20 minutes straight. Anything to challenge my body!
Squats-These exercises are great for burning fat because they are deemed total body workouts. Squats require numerous muscle groups to perform properly which equates to more calories burned and essentially, more fat burned!
Lunges-Lunges are another full body exercise that I love to do when incorporated with dumbbells. I do what I call “soldier lunges” which resemble the slow marching maneuvers of a soldier. Try out different exercises! Keep a log or have a great memory for which one of these work the best and repeat them. Once they become easy to do and you don’t feel your muscles working the same while performing them, change things up!
Also, stay persistent! Your body is probably in hibernation mode right now which is why you need to lose belly fat. It takes a few weeks of exercising to kick the body out of that state and turn on the fat burning mode.
