Your Channel in MINDS

MINDS User Guide for the Browser: Your Channel in MINDS

The channel newsfeed page is selected by clicking on your avatar or the "Views" count of the channel info in the Home page. The newsfeed includes all posts made by the channel (except in groups) and all posts reminded by the channel owner.

Channel Info

At the bottom of the banner on top of the channel page, the counts for Feed, Subscribers, Subscriptions, and Views for the channel are displayed.

Clicking on Feed will update and refresh the channel page (the one you're on.)

Clicking on Subscribers will take you to the channel Subscribers page.

Clicking on Subscriptions will take you to the channel Subscriptions page.

Clicking on Views does nothing.

Edit Avatar, Banner, and Bio

You can edit your avatar, banner, and Bio by clicking on the "pencil" icon.

Additional edit icons will be displayed.

To add a new banner, click in the area that says:

I don't know how many banners you can add. You can scroll through your banners by clicking on the "<" and ">" icons. The banner displayed can be deleted by clicking on this icon:

You can change your avatar by clicking on:

You can also change your Bio by editing it directly. When you are done editing, click on the "checkmark" icon to save your changes.

Bio Information

The Bio information is at the top of the left column of the newsfeed. Be sure to check what this looks like in the Apps.

At the bottom of the Bio information is your location.
