10 crazy questions for athiests

Ok everyone this is my scrip for my first video going up in the next day or two enjoy!

If creationists can't do science then why do Kent Hovind and Duane T. Gish, who are creation scientist have professional degrees in science.

Ok first of all the term “do science” just sounds so cringy and just wrong. I defiantly don't know as much as I should about the English langue. That term just seems so out of place I don't know maybe its just me, if some one out there is better at English than I please leave a comment to tell me if this is correct English. Secondly this does not follow. Just by virtue of having a professional degree does not make you a scientist. So Mr. Kent hovind and Mr. Duane t. Gish. I was really hoping to not have to deal with these two charlatans. But these questions were just to good to pass up. So Kent Hovind or Dr. Dino as some people remember him as, I will have to do a separate video or a series dedicated to just Kent alone and as far as professional degrees Kent received his doctorates degree though a degree mill. As far as Duane T. Gish he did have a real degree but stuck to pseudo science just as Kent hovind continues to practice. A quick fact the “gish gallop” debating style was named after him. I would not call half truths and blatant lies a good way to debate. To answer the question though creationists can learn the scientific method and a lot of them do. But according to the pew research center your just more likely to be an atheist if your a scientist.

2. If dinosaurs turned into birds, then why are we not afraid of them?

Well fist of all dinosaurs did not turn into birds. Birds evolved from a group of dinosaurs know as the maniraptoran theropods generally small meat eating dinosaurs. There are people afraid of birds and the phobia is call Ornithophobia. But to more directly answer the question because they’re not 20 feet tall and can't eat you with one fucking bite.

3. If homosexuality is right, then how come two people of the same sex not produce a child.

Well homosexuality is neither right or wrong. This is simply a malformed question. To answer the second question it is because we are a sexual dimorphic species. Human Reproduction is any form of sexual reproduction resulting in human fertilization typically involving sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. Durning sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of the woman ovum by the mans sperm. I really can't believe that I am having to explain this to an adult. I didn't receive the best education in biology but I know how to use google.

4. What purpose do we have if evolution is real?

Ok so I am really not sure what he means by this question. It could be interpreted as a nihilistic question to were he believes that humans are merely animals. But ill be generous and answer this a couple different ways. So first Ill rephrase it less ambiguously. What is the purpose in life if we do not have a god? To that I would answer you get to choose your own purpose in life. But if he's just asking what is our biological purpose is. I would say it is the same as every other animal to eat and reproduce.

5. You say Jesus never existed, but have you heard of the shroud of Turin?

I do not say that Jesus never existed. There is a possibility that the Jesus your referring to never existed but there is more evidence that he was a cult leader and was executed. And yes I have heard of the shroud of Turin. This is a highly controversial, highly debated and most importantly asserted. Now I did some digging into this carbon 13 dating dates between 1260 AD and 1390 AD. There is no evidence that it is directly related to the Jesus of the Bible at all.

6. Why do we not see humans being born in the zoos from monkeys if we came from monkeys?

We didn't come from monkeys. They are more like our evolutionary cousins. We share a common ancestor. To be honest I do know have much knowledge in this field, I went to christian schools my whole life and this was never taught. I have been interested in evolution for about a year now. I might make a video on this later but this question has been answered by thousands of people all over.

7. Why do we go to church if god is not real?

I don't go to church and not everyone does. But ill assume that your talking about christians. So I could ask you the same question why do people go to mosques if Allah isn't real, and the list goes on to every religion. But some people go just to have a sense of community not everyone goes to church just for religious reasons.

8. How did the grand canyon form.

Oh fuck I should have seen this coming. I fucking hate you Kent hovind. I am not going to pretend I have a clue about geology, its not my field. But what the evidence has showed us is that it is a very old river and not a large flash flood.

9. Do you know Jesus loves you?

How do you know that? Do you know what your imaginary sky-daddy thinks what am I saying of course you do, he's imaginary!

10. If christianity is false, then why is it so popular?

Ok this is the logical falsity called ad populem. It wouldn't matter if every one thought that the moon was made of cheese doesn't make it true.
