Who's for Civilization ?

The meeting between Trump and Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman is probably a bigger deal this second time around than the first. Shortly after which the Prince became heir apparent to the throne . The Saudi posture going into the meeting was the Prince saying Arabia will build a nuclear weapon if Iran does , and that the Iran deal with the US is flawed . Salman now openly talks about a "moderate Islam". There has been no outcry from the Saudi Arabian Islamic clerics over this huge power grab by the Royal Family that the future King would take upon himself spiritual leadership of Islam . There has been no objection public enough for me to hear it . The royal family and the clergy did have popular power about evenly split in Arabia unto now . Suddenly this new soon to be King has it all . This "moderate Islam" of Prince Mohammed Bin Salam is nothing like the version the Kingdom had been under. The Clerics have been wrong all of these years of female oppression according to this new very powerful and popular leader.

The Prince practically apologizes for what Saudi Arabia had become over the past 40 years. before he became so powerful in the Royal Family . He rightly hearkens back to times when women could drive in Arabia , before the Muslim Brotherhood had influence in the clergy . He is blaming the clergy for the backwards lurch in Saudi culture and is restoring modernity at an astonishing speed . The people got to be loving it . It's a true Arab Spring to borrow an Obama administration phrase. The Obama version is still sputtering along on it's last gallon in  Libya and Syria  but this power shift in Saudi Arabia is the demise of a revived Ottoman Empire or Levant  . Saudi Arabia is the spiritual epicenter of Sunni Islam which is by far most of the Muslim world . Prince Mohammed bin Salman has seized a lot more than the title of Crown Prince , soon to be King . Suddenly he's officially the guy who defines what Islam is with the authority of a Caliph . A Caliph to the Muslim world is like a Pope to the Catholics , unquestionable status , one might say the Vicar of Muhammad .

Maybe not officially but he made statements about true Islam to the whole wide world that go uncontested . His popularity has exploded and this has not begun to reach it's zenith . It's clear in grand fashion that this power sharing between the royal family and the clerics of Islam is in renegotiation . . If he can stay alive we have ourselves a real grass roots "Arab Spring" . Ironically for the Obama administration phrase coiners a movement that seems like a true Arab Spring is the opposite of the Muslim Brotherhood taking over the Levant . It looks more like Islam ditching the Muslim Brotherhood according to Salman . He's the closest thing to a "spiritual head of Islam"  I have seen in my lifetime.

Trump has not tweeted yet about his meetings with the Prince. Everything else though . The Saudi Embassy is touting meetings with Boeing, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin .and many Congressional representatives including Graham , Manchin, Cotton , Sullivan, Corker, Menendez, Risch, Cornyn and Ron Johnson, Nunes, Schumer , Ryan as well as Cabinet members . This is access that Trump gave his blessing to. The Crown Prince has demonstrated he was a true friend of liberty since that first meeting with Trump . Muslim , yes he is . In fact the Caliph is the most Muslim person alive and Islam is what he says it is. To the Sunni world this will be glorious but to the Shia , blasphemy . For Salman to pull this sword from the stone is epic . With the age of the internet Islam is getting a long overdue public shaming and the public eye is in a million iphones.  It's in need of some saving . 

Anyone predicting this outcome of the last Trump meeting with bin Salman would have been mummified in tin foil . I'm emboldened to render predictions now however . For Saudi to cease heavy military operations in Yemen would probably be a term of this billion dollar arms deal now signed off on . A strong US assurance that Iran would not get a nuclear weapon with some concrete plans to stop their progress that would also serve to hinder Iranian activity in Yemen would assuredly be in the equation . They can't let Iran just have Yemen and have a Royal Family too . Trump understands that . These men seem to believe in grand schemes made history fast on one of their  handshakes . 

The Obama version of Arab Spring still rages in Libya , Syria and Yemen . It wasn't as grass roots as it was sold as. Just Iran hiding behind the banner of the Muslim Brotherhood with the US government for it's community organizing arm . Beheading and cage burning video's all over facebook were "the new normal" and a "generational problem " . The Pope was calling Islam the religion of peace after each video . Governments all over the civilized world were pledging to take all the refugee's this great Islamic State of the Levant, as Mr. Obama tried so hard to dub it, could generate . That seems like a long forgotten nightmare now . A few contained fires yet to quench but  now the Caliph of Islam is praising individuality , freedom and equality for women , American culture. What a difference a year makes. 

Now , praise be to God , ISIS didn't turn out to be so tough , Saudi Arabia has officially re defined Islam . There's no greater authority, what , Iran is going to preach Islam to Saudi Arabia ? What timing , Iran is caught in the middle of a campaign of putting women in Evin Prison for putting their hijab on a stick and waving it in public and building nuclear weapons while Arabia suddenly has a good new modern Islam. Right when Iran is about to get a nuke strapped to an ICBM . It's looks like a set up , but so did the rest of the epic moments in the history of our species. So often they were exactly that, ask Adam and Eve .

The prologue of biblical because when this revival of liberty in the hearts of people who were adherents of the deepest darkest Islam a short year ago reaches Egypt it's going to be recognition time for Isaiah 19 . The damns and reservoir capacity is already in place to dry up the Nile and using them means incredible wealth for the countries that built the damns , all they need now is an excuse to start diverting water .  It is wealth to them .There is an available ally in the region with the power to turn the water back on even if Iran is protecting the damns . "Assyria" could be great again with a little help from a neighbor itself , We would find ourselves saying Hallelujah to the last verse in that much passed over prophecy from the guy who predicted the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel on eagles wings . It would be hard to argue against Joel 2:28 having been fulfilled when the people of Egypt and Assyria are worshipping the God of Israel in Hebrew ! 

Hallelujah , Trump was right in his omnibus speech , praise be to God , is my blessing to report . I'm for civilization . I think it is progress to creation .
