A Prophetic Water War and World Wide Revival
Egyptians get 3 days to vote . Egypt watchers believe that President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi will win a second term . There's the man who stopped the Obama Arab Spring. I remember he was brave to take the job at the time and he stood up to Obama. It effectively stopped the spread of ISIS in Egypt . The days of ISIS march across the middle east unopposed ended then. Sisi can't be a popular guy with Iran but if this heir apparent Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman turns out to be the reformer he is selling himself as a natural alliance could blossom with that declared enemy of Iran .
As of August 2016 work on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) was at 60% . Ethiopia is contracting to supply power to Sudan and other African nations , this is a country that has power outages itself. The reservoir on this damn is scheduled to take 5-15 years to fill at a rate that is not supposed to affect the flow of the Nile significantly but the potential exists to shut it off completely . If Ethiopia diverted more water than scheduled it would put Sudan in a bind who also has a dam on another feed to the Nile , between the two of them they could dry up the Nile river and keep it dry a long time . A Cairo University study estimated Egypt would lose 51 percent of its farmland if the fill is done in three years. A slower, six-year fill would cost Egypt 17 percent of its cultivated land, the study asserts.
What this puts us right in the times of is the prophecy of Isaiah 19 in which the waters of the Nile are indeed dried up causing the nation of Egypt to finally hit it's rock bottom. We have been praying for an end to their troubles since the Exodus. Then by the end of the prophecy Egypt is happy and enjoying prosperity as never before . They are called "Gods people " and they pray to The Lord , God of Israel in Hebrew . A lot packed in that short chapter that many prophecy preachers just refuse to recognize . It don't fit the narrative that sells the books , it blows it out of the water and forces us to take some other rarely touched on prophecy more seriously like the world wide revival of Joel 2:28.
The narrative that sells the books that the prophecy industry so protects is the rapture theology of John Nelson Darby. It embraces the idea of the end of humanity. This isn't the same as the promise to Abraham , it wouldn't be the world without end of Isaiah 45:15 .
It does attempt to reconcile Christian and Muslim end times prophecy . To court Muslims into the church . There is precedent . We have Christmas trees and Easter bunnies from courting other weird religions into the pews. Some council of pharisees somewhere has decided this would be a greater good than the hope of the promise of Abraham, I disagree .
The only reason an end of humanity is the prophecy of the Koran is because even Muhammad knew it was the opposite of the everlasting covenant. He spent a lot of time in Bible study and knew what it said better than most , then and now.
The Truth is mankind is as eternal as the stars in the heavens . Clearly this earth is not big enough for us .According to Christian prophecy that just adds a completing chapter to Hebrew prophecy , we colonize a new planet . There will be a Jerusalem . What a glorious hope to disregard in the hopes of courting Muslims and it's not working . Nobody with a glimmer of the civilization God so loved Abraham for is really super thrilled about the soon coming end of humanity upon their grandchildren . I wouldn't be surprised if the dogma were not the reason for so many "Atheists" . You don't need to reject a self evident loving Creator to reject the idea of a soon coming end of humanity jfyi. You're supposed to have read the Bible yourself and never had bought the get on your rooftop end of humanity books .
Consider how at the end of Isaiah 19 where the people of Egypt , Israel and Assyria are all one big peaceful trade bloc with monuments on borders proclaiming the God of Israel as The Lord . Clearly some sort of revival has had to occurred that Hal Lindsey refuses to cover , or maybe he thinks it already happened. Nope , nothing like that is yet recorded , or is for the damned left behind to suffer ?
So Sisi will be the leader of Egypt pretty much as long as he wants to and can stay alive. A modernizing Saudi Arabia will be reaching out for allies . I expect a call of congratulations from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman soon after the election. Egypt might start receiving many of the blessing of being restored to Gods "people" before they hit their rock bottom of the Nile being dried up and their frail economy ruined , these dynamics are bound to have some overlap.
My prayer is that Christians will find their faith again , no , The Lords Prayer is not for the soon extermination of mankind . Quite the opposite. It's that your children and grandchildren will be like the stars of the heavens in both numbers and longevity . He knew Abraham's heart and that's what would thrill him . Not that the end of humanity was nigh .You can want your grandchildren to have a life and be Christian too. Our extinction is not really in the Bible for any Atheists that may be fleeing Christianity because they want to believe in their grandchildren getting a chance at life.
The Bible really says “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.” Isaiah 66:22
Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn resigned unexpectedly on February 15, 2018 . I'm betting Iran has a hand in this and the next guy will be all about filling the reservoir faster . The world is watching .
