Branding your group/channel

How to and how branding helps build your channel #MindsGaming

I haven’t written a good MindsGaming blog as of late so I thought I would toss this together, add a fancy image, our community hashtag and see how it goes…

Basics Of Branding

A few things are needed to have a well branded channel.

1.) An icon and banner

This is the face of your channel or brand allowing you to be easily recognized.

2.) A Group

A group is necessarily necessary but highly recommended in building a brand or name this gives a place for your supporter to meet and chat with others who like you channel/brand

3.) A hashtag

A brand hashtag, this should be used in posts you want to highlight, be it on remind or post, allowing a system link to these posts for users to view. This also allows others to post in-line with your brand/channel without tagging you.

4.) A website

We are building a brand and brands need a website that provides information or resources to and about the brand, what is the purpose of your brand, how do I contact your brand, and so on.

These are the four basics of building a brand but other things rely on your brand getting known like content, interaction, and concept. If you need help building your channel/brand you can always join our community.

Building off #MindsGaming

Our community has been on Minds for some time and we have built a viral community based off groups and topics. We built it to be cooperative, meaning you can launch your brand/channel/groups and more in our community. You will still need #2 & #3 from the basics to work well inside our community but its not required to build with us.

1.) Attach our community hashtag to your group/channel brand, put it next to yours #Yourbrand #MindsGaming

2.) Create a blog highlighting the point of your brand with any resources, make sure to use your branding hashtags in it.

3.) Launch your brand with us, we will make you a community page/website (depending) and all reference's to your resources that you would like provided you can see examples in our platinum player pages in our VIP area.

Sometimes if you are really lucky an idea inside your brand gets popular and you need to expand your brand.

Extending your branding

1.) Add a page/sub-domain for the new branding

2.) Identify its part of your original brand we use powered by #MindsGaming

3.) Reference basics of branding
