What is Cryptoflix project?
Cryptoflix is a media company that aims to use blockchain technology in order to disrupt the multi-billion dollar film, TV, and online learning markets. Through developing, patenting, and using new technologies, the team behind Cryptoflix wants to make it easy (and cheap) to stream movies legally.
CryptoFlix is a Blockchain film streaming platform to give everyone, everywhere legal access to movies and to educate humanity across borders. CryptoFlix is the first media company on the Blockchain to exploit this huge void in the paid content market, which is only achievable by circumventing the normal payment options and using digital currency. We are also the first Media company – both on the Blockchain and outside – to dare to offer free online content with educational purposes via films and TV to everyone, regardless of their location, origin, or socio-economic status.
CryptoFlix platform
The CryptoFlix platform plays a major role in the CryptoFlix ecosystem by providing users with an interface that will give them direct access to various products and other elements in the ecosystem. Through the platform, users can register and get to watch cinema content (usually paid movies and TV programs) and free educational content in the form of films.
Additionally, the platform features a digital wallet through which users get to pay for the paid content. Those who will use FLIX tokens for the payment are meant to enjoy greater discounts as compared to other digital currencies. They will also receive 1% of revenue every time they re-purchase the FLIX tokens.
It’s also important to note that the CryptoFlix content is primarily available for private users. These users will be required to download the CryptoFlix application for iOS and Android-based tablets and phones from App store and Google play store respectively to allow them to access the platform and view free educational content. However, private institutions, schools, and companies can access the content through a subscription plan.
Cryptoflix Film Marketplace
Next up after the launch of the Cryptoflix streaming platform is the Cryptoflix Film Marketplace.
Through the Cryptoflix Film Marketplace, the Cryptoflix team aims to reward both content creators and consumers. Creators will receive funding for their projects when FLIX token holders choose to invest in their projects for a potential return on their investment.
Cryptoflix analysts will provide project risk scores and comments for potential investors. Risk scores will consider the following factors:
What part of the film value chain financing applies to
The potential market, genre, and projected income for the project
How long it will take to produce the project
The project’s team
Any notable factors like A-List actors, interesting subject matter, etc.
Returns and conditions will be offered to investors in a term sheet as well.
The Cryptoflix Film Marketplace is expected to launch in Q1 2019.
Cryptoflix Production Company
Along with a streaming service and film marketplace, Cryptoflix will consider producing its own content, similar to Amazon, Netflix, and other companies, if Cryptoflix ends up being successful.
Cryptoflix eBook Distribution Platform
In order to further strengthen the Cryptoflix business, Cryptoflix will also consider introducing an eBook distribution platform, where they will offer both free and paid eBooks as developing countries, Cryptoflix’s area of focus, do not have well-developed eBook distribution services.
Cryptoflix Charitable Trust
Cryptoflix will set up an official, regulatory as well as tax-compliant charitable trust to support its educational efforts.
Content creators will be able to donate educational content and the Cryptoflix Charitable Trust will receive an annual fixed share of profits from donated content. Content creators will be able to deduct from their taxes, and Cryptoflix will be able to further disseminate free educational content.
Cryptoflix aims to set up the trust before the end of 2018.

Christian Falkenberg Husum is the CEO of this entire project. He has been in the entertainment business for over 10 years and has even co-financed the Oscar winning film Ida in 2015. Similarly, Stefan Steen Larsen is the company’s COO and Digital Rights Expert. He too has worked as a film producer for over a decade and has also experience in other domains such as

Lastly, Bastian Larsen is the core dev behind CryptoFlix. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Copenhagen and has worked with digital systems for over a decade now.
CryptoFlix FLIX ICO Token Details
Start Date :15th April 2018

Minimum contribution :0.1ETH
Soft Cap :7,500,000 FLIX
Hard Cap :57,000,000 FLIX
In all, there will be a total of 100 million FLIX tokens that will be created. Out of this, only 57 million coins will be made available to potential investors, while the rest will be saved for company members as well as for the creation of a reserve hold.
The sale of tokens will be done via the use of an ICO. As per the whitepaper, the ICO is scheduled to commence on the 15th of April, 2018.
After all of the tokens are sold, there will be no more currency that will be added to the entire pool.
Use of Raised Revenue
62% of the total money will be used for further platform development and advertising purposes.
19% will be used to pay for employee fees and salaries.
The remaining 19% will be used for the creation of a reserve as well as to cover for legal costs.
