We are living in an era of restrictions, but this is even more conducive to the raison d'être of telework 🙂
The word of digital nomads was also intensely spread by the media. A wide range of Revolut job offers is waiting for you in this genre!
Do you remember the media uproar surrounding the “digital nomads” a few years ago? It presented a world of multilingual, almost cyber-lifted people, traveling around the world and able to work from anywhere with their laptops and WiFi connections, one article after another. The lives of digital nomads are a kind of “niche” phenomenon that only very bold freelancers could experience. Today, however, it has become much more common - especially during the summer season and the artificial, profit-oriented pandemic.
This epidemic as “pandemic,” although in the minds of most people merely as “plandemic,” has accelerated many changes.
Today, most companies offer their employees the opportunity to work from another country! As long as performance is guaranteed and KPIs are adequate, staying in the office is secondary.
Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that shows how effectively a company is achieving key business goals. Companies use KPIs at several levels to evaluate the success of achieving objectives. High-level KPIs can focus on overall business performance, while low-level KPIs can focus on departmental processes such as sales, marketing, HR, support, and more.
The work of remote workers is regularly coupled with
Revolut’s corporate policy, for example, is to provide 100% flexibility for its employees! If you want to look through the open positions of this company, browse the Revolut career page.
Usually, telecommuting is when we do the work outside the office, possibly abroad and completely digitally. In this case, normal working hours must be completed and leave and sick days must be requested / logged by the employer in the usual way.
They work as a freelancer or employee for one or more companies, but their contract does not mention a fixed location, i.e. they are not committed in any direction. Digital nomads usually work in one place during the week - typically close to nature - and move on on the weekends. On average, digital nomads stay in one place for about three weeks to have enough time to travel and discover new hotspots.
Before traveling to the destination you have chosen, it is advisable to check its legal status as well. Working in a country usually requires a residence and work permit. However, since most remote workers do not stay in a country for more than 3-4 weeks and then move on (or return home) very quickly, a tourist visa is usually sufficient.
I think everyone knows the thousands of photos sent by the influencers to Instagram system, which tries to show, how great the working is in the company of a deck chair, a laptop, and a bright sun.
This is by no means the case because most IT technologies, e.g. the displays are almost unenjoyable when exposed to sunlight, because even the most expensive stuff does not provide comfortable visibility on the display!
The main feature of a digital nomad, on the other hand, is that he “lives on the back of the ice,” which means he explores all the possibilities that create the comfort he needs to work. At most restaurants with terraces, it is enough to order just one drink and we have already got our workstation practically all day long 🙂
It is definitely worth thinking about the possibilities that can be done outside an office by installing digital technologies:
For those pursuing a digital nomadic lifestyle, it is essential to be as flexible as possible, one aspect of which is, for example, a smaller suitcase that meets all needs.
Well, what are the technology options that you can’t miss if you want to work for them as a teleworker at Revolut?
While most digital lifestyles support fintech companies, they are of the opinion that dating can be easily transferred from online to our real life and we can be able to meet anyone, even an unknown to us, in a cafe. But that's not the real ;)
That is why it is worth cultivating the digital nomadic way of life as an experience in our younger age, and to use the life experience and global worldview gained in this way later in our lives!
