I'm new here and looking for projects and ideas to try. We have a few acres that we hope to turn into a self-sustaining homestead someday soon. So far we have shelter (a stick built house & detached garage), a well, about 5 open acres (3 flat & 2+ on a grade), a little timber (1 acre), and possibly a spring. Right now we're part-time on the property, so we're looking for things to start today that will help prepare us for our full-time plans. Things we can do in a couple of days and leave alone for up to a month.
