I've been working on my homebrew setting for a while, and a recent conversation on another web site about Dragons got me thinking (and working) on the dragons I want in my setting some more. Thing is, the Dragons in 5e just aren't as special as they were in previous editions....See more

Ok, as I'm working on a few things, including a setting, I figured I'd post something, you know, so there's actually some activity here... Thirty Five years ago, Flying Buffalo produce a product from their devious minds for games masters that aspired to be just that little bit more lethal, I mean, fun for their players. That product was called "Grimtooth's Traps" and there were 8 of the books in total, and one that...See more

Have you ever heard of Ooblek? Non-Neutonian Fluids? Ooblek is a mixture of cornstarch and water. The more force you apply against it, the firmer it becomes as it spreads the force out, and then allows whatever hit it to sink into the mixture. You can actually run on the stuff...See more

For years, I've told my gamers that they will only need that which they take with them. If they load up on high damage weapons, extra heavy armor, heaps of healing magic, etc, I will scale the combat to require such things, so it's challenging. If they wear a t-shirt and jeans...See more
