MISSION STATEMENT We're bringing all Minds from different ideological, religious and political backgrounds to listen and talk to each other in a more productive way, to come together, respectfully and under guidelines of acceptable behavior, to devise solutions to commonly identified problems or obstacles that face us all. GUIDELINES: ~ This is a 'Right/Left/Centrist/Independent/Undecided' team effort to figure out what’s closest to the truth and what’s accurate - not who’s 'right', and to come up with realistic solutions without bias and with an exploratory spirit. ~ If you believe that you have information or an interpretation of info that is more accurate than someone else’s, politely offer your evidence to the contrary, and talk it out. Do not ridicule or condescend. ~ On the receiving end, if your information or interpretation has been proven inaccurate, do not rage, flail, insult, etc. at the provider of the new information. Think of any solid evidence as a building block. ~ Unless there is strong proof to suggest otherwise, assume that each person is, like you, trying to orient themselves and to figure out the central question of 'How do I conduct myself in the the world?' (In other words, don't, for example, fling accusations of 'pushing an agenda!' and don’t push agendas.) ~ Assume that each person's statements are as accurate representations of reality as they can articulate with the information that they have available.
