We're working on huge updates to the Minds Monetization Program to significantly increase earnings shared with the Minds community. Our new Boost Partner Program is the first update we're proud to announce.
The recent launch of Boost 3.0 solves some persistent problems we've had with Boost, but that's only the beginning. Today we're announcing the Boost Partner Program, the beginning of a new revenue sharing program made possible by Boost 3.0 that both (1) expands Boost inventory to relieve pressure on the cost of Boosts, and (2) opens up a new revenue sharing stream for everyone. Yes, including you.
(1) Boosts can now appear on more pages, including channel pages and individual activity post pages. This addition adds more available inventory to the Boost ecosystem, creating more opportunities for Boosts to appear and increasing the number of views Boost buyers get for their tokens and dollars.
(2) Additionally, we're sharing the revenue of Boosts served on these pages with the creators of the content that own them. If Boosts appear on your activity posts or channel page, you'll earn 50% of the revenue – both tokens and cash – from Boost views that were served.
(3) All activity will be monitored closely for fraud to ensure that the views are real and organic. Anyone found to be guilty of abusing the integrity of this system will lose their eligibility for the Boost Partner Program.
Want to optimize your earnings through the Boost Partner Program? As a content creator or even an active commenter, the goal is the same: attract people to visit your channel page or open up your posts in the single-post view.
Attracting channel page visits by engaging in discussion in the comments. People who engage more get more people to click into channel pages to learn more about their interlocutor. You can also subscribe to new channels you want to engage with, as people commonly follow back. Boosting your channel is another good way to increase your visibility and attract an audience.
To increase click throughs on your activity posts as a creator, spark discussions! When making new posts, leave an open question to the audience that entices them to think and respond. By driving the discussion on your own posts, you'll increase the likelihood that a new viewer will click through to catch up on the discourse.
And if you aren't a creator but just want to help out the creators you love, visit their channel pages and dive into the comments to help improve their opportunities to earn. Every little bit helps.
The Boost Partner Program is available to all Minds channels that are (a) in good standing, and (b) verified as human (via phone number or mobile app human detector). Cash payouts are subject to the same restrictions as Minds+ earnings: You must have accrued a minimum of $100 in total earnings, have connected a bank account, and be a Minds+ subscriber to get paid out.
If you'd prefer that Boosts do not appear on your pages, you can easily opt out of the program in your Boost settings to prevent Boosts from serving on pages they own.
The Boost Partner Program is rolling out now to all eligible accounts. Look for a notice in your Newsfeed welcoming you to the program.
