V-ID Ending Document Fraud

Good evening dear and appreciated community, again it is a pleasure to greet you as and in each of the publications I make.

In this new opportunity that God allows me to have to let you know about a very significant project in the world of technology, I want to talk about V-ID.

In a global era where technology continues to advance rapidly and increasingly we find one of the many trends surrounding the technology market, I speak of the digital currency (Cryptocurrency) where there are more and more digital coins that people expect from cryptographic projects with successful ideas and sensations, and one of those exciting projects is the one provided by the V-ID Platform.

What is V-ID?

V-ID is a service that manages blockchain technology to make scamming of digital files unlikely. V-ID users are divided into author and recipient. When the author adds a file in V-ID, the recipient can check the legitimacy of this file. V-ID was developed by WIDIDI. Since 2008, WIDIDI has been running the M16 platform, which continues to be developed to develop software projects for its customer base. WIDIDI specializes in secure environments, connections and communications.

V-ID utlilises generic and trusted principles to enable validation and verification for any digital file, of any publisher. This is possible thanks to the immutable and transparent nature of blockchain


V-ID is now in use at Airbus Defense & Space, Dutch college HBO Drechtsteden, fiber-optic supplier Vitrumnet and ESHRE (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology). ESHRE (Belgium) uses V-ID to protect the diplomas and certificates that they assign to students in PDF format against forgery. HBO Drechtsteden (the Netherlands) immortalizes diplomas using V-ID technology.


Vision

V-ID is used by any organization that wants to securely protect its digital files against fraud. Comparable to how certified SSL connections are currently used for websites.

How V-ID works

The issuing organization can register any file through the validation process of the V-ID platform, for it must be registered in the V-ID system, once the file or document is registered in the system, it is verified through the verification terminal at ( System Verified ) allowing each recipient to verify its authenticity in a matter of seconds and free of charge. V-ID does not keep a copy of a validated file and therefore easily complies with GDPR guidelines. Once the file is verified, V-ID generates a report of the verification.

What V-ID has to offer

One of the disadvantages of digitising society is the difficulty of combating fraud with digital archives. V-ID is a service that uses blocking technology to prevent digital file fraud.

The V-ID validation process ensures that the person who records the file actually represents the issuing organization. V-ID does not keep a copy of a validated file and therefore easily complies with GDPR guidelines.

An OIC (Origin Information Certificate) is offered in PDF format. This certificate contains all the details about the issuing party, the file itself and all blockchain data such as timestamp and proof of existence.

Validation of files or documents can take place in different ways:

1.- Validation by a V-ID certified employee

V-ID staff members will do the actual validation for you on the site. If the client wishes, a V-ID trained notary will also be present to confirm the IDs and oversee the validation process.

2.- Self-validation.

This method allows an employee of the issuing organization to validate files at any time. First, an employee of the publishing organization is appointed to become a Validator. The identity of this person is established on the site by a V-ID agent and a notary appointed by V-ID. After V-ID has created the Validator profile on the platform, he or she can log into a Validation Terminal. The Validation Terminal has an easy-to-use interface, where the files to be validated can be sent simply by dragging and dropping.

3.- Bridge Validation

This validation method is a server-to-server process. The V-ID API extracts the fingerprint of a file from the code that the company's software uses to create that file. This means that, for example, in the case of a typical dynamically generated PDF file, the V-ID API does not need to handle the file itself in order to validate the file. This validation process is completely non-intrusive to the normal enterprise workflow.


For each validation a transaction with V-ID tokens is performed. Due to the data connected to these transactions in the block chain, both the validating part and the validated file are fully transparent.

TOKEN V-ID

What are V-ID tokens?

The V-ID Token is an Ethereum smart contract token which will be used to pay for all services provided by V-ID. These services include implementation projects, self-service, API licensing and transactions per file.

The V-ID Tokens will also be used to cover the costs of using multiple blockchains, without requiring other tokens or coins.

The V-ID utility token is an ERC20 token that is used to identify wallet addresses (for issuers / validating parties) and is used as payment per validation.

The platform can be used online (human interface) and will be expanded with a number of apps, white label widgets and SOAP and REST APIs, to form the ultimate safe bridge for validating and verifying with most common modern software (using web services and system interfaces).

What features, uses or attributes do V-ID Tokens have?

V-ID Tokens can also be used for self-validation, using this method, an employee of the issuing organization can validate documents at any time. V-ID assigns a wallet for this to the issuing organization, which holds a credit of V-ID tokens. A transaction with V-ID tokens takes place per validation.

Due to the data associated with these transactions in the blockchain, both the validating party and the validated file are transparent and verifiable per transaction. Though V-ID uses the Bitcoin, Ethereum and DigiByte network, only V-ID Tokens are required for all transactions.

CONCLUSION

In the next 3 years, V-ID will become a market leader in protecting against file fraud, just as SSL has become a secure Internet connection. Its great enthusiasm in being able to achieve it characterizes them as it has a strong team with high professionals. In addition, the progress of V-ID with the current adoption and conversion gives us a good picture of the product market situation.

The rapid adoption of V-ID technology will be possible, because it is radically different from other current fraud prevention technologies. V-ID offers the validation of any digital file with maximum security, optionally on site with a certified notary present, to oversee the process. The implementation of V-ID is cost effective, fast and completely non-intrusive for existing workflows. The V-ID project guarantees total success.
