Hello World

Hello World, 

I'm Jo Lucas and this is my first Journalistic Blog. Unaccustomed as I am to extensive writing, I took note of my own activities on Twitter @jolucasofficia1 if you'd like to follow me there. My biggest chagrin with Twitter being that I can never completely express my ideas in fewer than 280 characters.

Thus, I came to Minds hoping to find a platform where I'd be able to work independently as a journalist. My personal promise to you, the reader, is that I will aspire to integrity and not agenda. If I disagree with something, I will be brutal but honest in my commentary, I want to create a truly fair platform free from click-bait and spam.

I do realise that as a human I am susceptible to flaws as we all are. It is for that reason I will take your criticisms and commentary very seriously and use them to improve the content I provide.

I will NEVER paywall my content, but I will preface all future blogs with a donation request. I ask for donations because as a writer and a student I have a very limited income and just like you I have bills to pay and groceries to buy.
