Despina Mirou Page won “Honouring Best Actress Award”,she is the Queen of the Cannes film festival 2023!

Ms. Mirou is globally a beloved actress, artist, and humanitarian who performing around the world and receiving awards and praise for her talents. Until few days ago when she won a “honouring acting award” from Cannes Film Festival the most huge cinema festival in Europe.

She won 60 years after “ The boy on the dolphin” played the character of Sofia Loren in Hydra!!

Despina Mirou is the new Melina Mercouri, has same destiny, as Mercury filming of "Phaedra" at Hydra, in 1961, and she received best actress in the same festival 60 years ago too!!Same as Jack Nicholson, and everbody know in Hollywood about their 3 years Love affair. Also, Despina have a quality like Irene Papas. She was stunning as a new Irene especially when she was wearing Hellenic dress.

The iconic actress and her archetypal Greek beauty stunning on the red carpets, as well as for her roles in films by some of the world's greatest directors. She appeared as Greek goddess with her director Paul Wiffen and the script-writer Gabriel Murray. Also the French Government generously offer her the honorary award, for the best actress! She is a personality with international prestige, passionate, workaholic, very beautiful, a scientist, an award-winning actress with a significant career in both theatre and cinema in Europe, USA, and abroad. She is charismatic, full of talent, luminous, vividness and she love the life. She is world-class. Above all she is a human being. As about her awards she announced “ I m gonna burn the 55 and keep only two: my philanthropy awards. I want to split the message that my soul and my mine doesn’t count by them. Thank you for the honor, but one day i will be die and these gonna stay on my wall. Same time I want to give a paradigm to new actors : dnt became actors for glory, money, and awards. Do it because you are in love with this art! Otherwise better become farmers, go back to your villages!” Despina’s father is a farmer and she grew up in north, where Orpheus, Pythagoras, Spartacus and the Great Alexander born! “ This is in my dna! As about the successful scriptwriter, the Irish Mr. Murray the film “So Long Marianne” is based on a novel written by him who lived on Hydra in the 80s with the Anerican artist Timothy Henessy! He was a close friend of Leonard Cohen,Marianne, and met Loren! So, that's how Gabriel met them at the party's they had at their villa. The story is from Mr.Murray best seller novel is called “A Thousand Kisses Deep”!

As about the director Paul Wiffen he discovered Despina Mirou in London in a comedy club, and mesmerised from her talent. First he put her in a British film to play Elizabeth Taylor, a love affair with Burton. As he said “ She looks like Taylor daughter”! Despina took the part without audition, but for character of Loren she auditioned to Suzanne Kedal and the casting director gave her immediately to play Sophia Loren. Despina as always, since she is a method actor made by herself the make up, and hair same as Loren, and sent her 35 videos in the Pinewood studios. All the team was impressed and they gave her Loren character.

As about her appearance in Cannes 2023 of course, the beautiful international actress attracted as a magnet the eyes and flashes of photographers and journalists, worldwide, and with her stylistic appearances, on 4 red carpets, as an official guest at the premiere of Nani Moretti, Wim Wenders and Scorsese, where she launched dresses of her own design, called "Hellenic Spirit". In Venters premiere she show up in the Pallai, with her outfit, “half man and half woman” and she impressed everyone. Mirou many years ago announced that she supported the LGBT, and also she supported the MEETOO movement payed attorney for other women cases (who can’t offer to pay themselves), by payed their courts and they won!!

Everyone knew in Hollywood that she was 3 years in a relationship with the legend Jack Nicholson. This year her photo in front of Jack poster when he went also 60 years ago with the film “ Easy Riders”, it was a movement from the actress to express her admiration for the legend Jack, and she became very emotional. “ Later on in my bio Jack will have the 2/3 of my book” she announce very excited! “ He was the big love of my life, and still I love and respect him”. The other day she was invited from the huge fashion Prestige owner Ms.Stavroula Nikolaou at the Carlton hotel, in the biggest gala this year in Cannes. There were big names of the Hollywood industry and many kings and queens from all around the world! The Cypriot Mis Nikolaou won two awards in Cannes too, because she is number one in Fashion globally.

As about the Greek American goddess Mirou she is very famous for her range performances, she can play every character. Despina Mirou Page acting teacher was Al Pacino and John Strasberg from the Actor studio. She is workaholic and passionate like Pacino. Also, like keanu Reeves, she is an activist, and multitalented personality. 70% of her stand up comedy income she gave to homeless in Los Angeles. “For me what is good is to love.
