He fell from heaven after defying his creator. Lucifer also known as the Devil or Satan an Evil Spirit who leads people away from God and causes them to sin.
The Devil has been given a lot of different names over the centuries, many of which come from different languages and cultures.
He is also known as Beelzebub, Baphomet, Lucifer, or Satan. In Asia, he is sometimes called Astaroth or Ahriman.
In Hebrew tradition, he is called Samael or Asmodeus, while in Christianity he is known as the serpent but his original name has been lost.
The word Lucifer is derived from the Latin word meaning ‘light bearer. It was not until Christianity arose that he became associated with Satan and fell from grace, thus giving rise to the belief that his name translated into Satan or the Devil.
Lucifer was an Archangel in Jewish mythology, but he did not act like your typical angel; instead of leading people towards God, he led them away.
He was blamed for introducing evil into the world by convincing humanity to eat fruit from a forbidden tree. For his actions, God banished him to hell until the end of time.
The devil is often associated with numerous negative traits like evil, darkness, and chaos in the world. There are many different versions of Satan but he always embodies one or more of these characteristics.
He has no real form because he takes the form of each person's greatest temptation. He is tempting because he represents everything we desire i.e., power, wealth, success, and knowledge. He is cunning because he is able to get what he wants from people.
He can be jealous when people are jealous of him. The Devil uses the people who are his greatest sources of jealousy in order to torture them.
