The Mummies 2021

Mummies have been a significant piece of history for millennia. In fact, many people look at them as a way to connect with the past. In the modern world, they are often used in movies and television shows. Some even live among us today.

In all cases, Mummies have been an important part of history and continue to influence our lives to this day.

What Is A Mummy?

A Mummy is a Deceased Human or creature whose organs and skin have been protected by either purposeful or accidental openness to synthetic compounds, outrageous cold (ice mummies), exceptionally low humidity, or absence of air when bodies are lowered in marshes, with the goal that the recuperated body won't rot further whenever kept in cool and dry conditions.

A few specialists limit the utilization of the term to Bodies purposely treated with synthetics, however, the utilization of the word to cover coincidentally dried up bodies dates back to 1615 AD.

How The Mystery Of Mummies Started?

The word “Mummy” comes from the Arabic word “mummia”, which means bitumen or pitch, and was used as a preservative for Dead Bodies in ancient Egypt.

The ancient Egyptians were the first people to mummify their dead around 3500 BC, which they did because of their beliefs about the Afterlife.

The Ancient Egyptians believed that if the bodies of the deceased were preserved, then they could be resurrected after they died. Most of the mummies found in Egypt today are of wealthy individuals or royalty, though there are also mummies of children, servants, and even pets.

Very First Disclosure Of Mummy

Mummies have been found in many places around the world, but the first discovery of a mummy in human history happened in 3200 BC.

In the 1990s, a team of Archaeologists from the University of Manchester led by Dr. Robert Connolly excavated a cemetery known as Uan Muhuggiag in Libya.

The excavations uncovered a prehistoric graveyard that contained hundreds of bodies dating from between 5,000 and 7,000 years ago.
