We need to begin to reclaim control over the institutions which have such oversized roles in our lives. As you read this people work tirelessly to see to it that you are dumb and docile. Let's stop them.

What Would a Real Capitol Hill Riot Look Like?

"The FBI views the January 6 Capitol Hill protest as “domestic terrorism,” to quote director Christopher Wray. The bureau will work nonstop to bring those responsible to a police-state version of justice.

This included arresting Christopher Kuehne, a Missouri man who appears on security footage doing dangerous stuff like staying inside the velvet ropes and picking up garbage left by other protestors. Kuehne is a retired Marine with two Iraq deployments and a purple heart. The FBI charged him with carrying a deadly weapon, though he had none. The media falsely reported he was a member of the Proud Boys, though he is not. It appears he is being held in solitary confinement 23 hours a day without bail. His wife was kept waiting in freezing weather for hours while an FBI forensics team ransacked their home looking for “evidence.” She was pregnant and has suffered a miscarriage. That story has been effectively deleted from the internet and you won’t find it easily with a search on Google.

The FBI isn’t alone in claiming the January 6 Capitol protest was the worst thing to happen to America since 9/11. A substantial share of nominally Republican politicians has joined that chorus. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) went so far as to say that Donald Trump will have “a place in history” for the Capitol riot: “They could have blown the building up. They could have killed us all.”

...

Well, try this on for size: Suppose if, instead of saying “let’s walk to the Capitol peacefully,” Trump instead had said what everyone accuses him of saying. Suppose he’d said, “The election is being stolen from us and I’m not giving up power.” (Remember how the Left fantasized Trump would have to be removed from the Oval Office by force?) Suppose Trump continued: “I am calling on my supporters to defend my presidency with violence. Come to Washington. Bring your guns! Bring every weapon you can lay your hands on. Don’t let anyone stop you. No justice, no peace!”

What do you suppose would have happened then? Do you think that the only person to be shot that day would have been an unarmed protester? If Trump had one ounce of the autocratic, dictatorial tendencies the press accuse him of having, he need only have asked his supporters to defend him with force. They would have.

It’s hard to say what would have followed, but it would not have been pretty. If Trump had actually encouraged violence, the “Capitol Riot” would have been a bona fide riot. We wouldn’t be able to count the death toll on a single hand. It would take hundreds, or thousands, of hands. If Americans had come to Washington actually seeking to “kill them all,” as Graham so despicably insists, you can bet that they would have succeeded in killing at least some.

...

It is impossible to imagine Trump asking for heads on pikes. (The Left may say they can imagine it, but they are, as usual, lying.) If Trump had asked for heads, he could have gotten them. And this is not a power he has lost, because it had nothing to do with any official button he could push or lever he could pull as president. He simply has a faithful following numbering in the tens of millions who trust he has their best interests at heart, who feel abused by the political machine, and who regard him as America’s legitimate leader.

...

January 6 is nothing but an excuse to attack, intimidate, and even imprison political enemies.

Which makes the Left’s attitude towards Trump supporters much like China’s attitude toward America: They believe that they can continue to push with no real consequences. It’s easy to push good people as long as you do it a little at a time. The only danger is accidentally pushing too far at once, what you might call the “Pearl Harbor mistake.” The Chinese are strategically smart enough to avoid doing that. But our politicians, the media, the unelected bureaucrats, do not necessarily understand that about Trump and his supporters. They cry wolf over “domestic terrorism” without understanding that, in a real confrontation, theirs is the losing hand. So it might be instructive for them to take a quiet moment to imagine what January 6 would have looked like if it had actually happened."

Officer who killed Ashli Babbitt during Capitol riot will face no punishment, case closed – DOJ

"The Department of Justice has announced that they have closed their investigation into the death of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot during the January 6 US Capitol riot, and determined the officer will not be charged.

In a statement announcing the closing of the investigation, the DOJ announced there is “no evidence” to establish that the US Capitol officer who shot Babbit “did not reasonably believe that it was necessary to do so in self-defense or in defense of the Members of Congress and others evacuating the House Chamber.”

Babbitt’s shooting was caught on multiple videos on January 6. She was struck by a single shot from the still unidentified officer after trying to enter the ‘Speaker’s Lobby’ which leads to the US House of Representatives, according to the DOJ. Babbitt tried climbing through a doorway with glass broken out when she was struck by a bullet in her left shoulder. After receiving medical attention, Babbitt was transferred to Washington Hospital Center where she died as a result of her injuries."

CNN Tech Director Caught on Video Admitting Network Engaged in Propaganda To Get Trump Voted Out

"CNN’s technical director was caught on video admitting that the cable “news” network traffics in propaganda under the guise of journalism in order achieve a desired political outcome.

The director, Charlie Chester, described in Part One of Project Veritas’ “CNN Exposed” series how the network used propaganda to benefit Joe Biden and get former President Trump voted out of office.

During a conversation with an undercover Project Veritas reporter, Chester also divulged that CNN plans to start hyping the climate change agenda as soon as the Covid-19 hysteria dies down, per CEO Jeff Zucker’s orders.

...

Chester explained how the propaganda network used shots of Biden jogging and/or wearing hip aviator sunglasses to deflect from his advanced age and promote the idea that he was healthy.

“He is definitely — the whole thing of him running during the entire — like run for the campaign. Showing him jogging is obviously deflection of his age and they’re [CNN] trying to make it like, ‘Oh, I’m healthy,” Chester said. “We would always show shots of him [Biden] jogging and that [he’s] healthy, you know, and him in aviator shades. Like you paint him as a young geriatric.”

Chester went on to predict that COVID-19 media hysteria would be coming to an end in the near future, and that CNN would be transitioning to promoting climate change hysteria to take its place."

GM and Ford CEOs Lead Michigan Group Opposing Voter Restrictions

"The nation’s fight over voter inclusion heated up in Michigan, with General Motors Co. Chief Executive Officer Mary Barra and Ford Motor Co. CEO Jim Farley headlining a group of 38 business leaders in the state who signed a letter to the state’s lawmakers saying that any changes to voting laws shouldn’t restrict people from casting ballots, especially historically disenfranchised communities.

With Michigan’s Republican-led Senate expected to soon start hearings on a range of election proposals, the group of business leaders sent a letter dated April 13 that stated eight principles supporting people’s right to vote and opposing anything seen as unfair restrictions.

...

...the most contentious Republican proposals would require identification to get an absentee ballot, and would mandate that drop boxes for absentee ballots be approved by the secretary of state and county boards of canvassers. The proposals also would prohibit using ballot drop boxes after 5 p.m. before Election Day and would bar the secretary of state from mailing unsolicited absentee ballot applications or posting them online."

Pentagon creates MICROCHIP that will detect Covid-19 under your skin

"Medical researchers working for the Pentagon have claimed to have created a microchip that can identify viruses like Covid-19 if they are under your skin.

Retired Army Col. Dr. Matt Hepburn, an infectious disease physician, told ‘60 Minutes’ that the microchip acts like a “check engine” light for people, but does not track their every movement, which has been central to online conspiracy theories about Covid-19 vaccinations.

...

The microchip, which is not in widespread use beyond the Defense Department, is embedded under the skin in a tissue-like gel and continuously tests the recipient's blood for evidence of a virus, like Covid-19. Once detected, it alerts the carrier they must immediately get a blood test.

“It’s a sensor,” Hepburn said. “That tiny green thing in there, you put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body and that signal means you are going to have symptoms tomorrow.”

He went on to claim that the early detection technology could “stop the infection in its tracks.”"

Moderna Eyes Combo COVID-19, Flu Vaccine

"The wave of the vaccine future may be a one-two punch aimed to KO both COVID-19 and the flu with one shot.

Moderna CEO, Stéphane Bancel, appeared on NBC's Squawk Box Wednesday morning to discuss a much anticipated move by the pharmaceutical company that would make boosting both vaccines simpler and more effective.

"COVID-19 is not going away. It's not leaving the planet," Bancel said, adding that with the variants mutating, getting a booster shot custom designed to neutralize whatever form of the coronavirus is dominant would be the logical path to take.

Bancel said that with more vaccination and more people getting infected, the pace of COVID-19 will naturally slow down, much like influenza. He said Moderna's goal is to develop a vaccine annually tailored to tackle both the COVID-19 and flu pathogens in one dose so that people can go to their pharmacies or primary care providers and be vaccinated in one visit.

...

...Bancel said that the mRNA technology used in Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine can be easily tweaked to accommodate multiple viral strains.

"Today the vaccines we have for seasonal flu are OK in a great year, and they are pretty bad in a bad year, in terms of efficacy," Bancel said, according to the WSJ. "It's not impossible that in a couple of years we should have the product I just talked about — a high efficacy seasonal flu vaccine and a COVID-19 vaccine — for you at your pharmacy on an annual basis.""

Remember: COVID & the flu is just the foot in the door. They're coming for your humanity.

Denmark to share AstraZeneca Covid vaccines with poorer nations after declaring jabs too dangerous for Danes – WHO

"The Danish Health Authority is exploring sending its AstraZeneca Covid vaccines to poorer nations, despite flagging the jab as having a “real risk of severe side effects,” according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

The WHO’s European head, Hans Kluge, revealed the plan on Thursday, a day after Denmark became the first country on the continent to permanently scrap the jabs from its vaccine rollout amid an investigation into the potential side effect of blood clots.

The plan to share the vaccines with poorer nations has not been finalized, and Denmark has not announced specific details, but Kluge said, “the ministry of foreign affairs of Denmark is ready to, or looking already into options” for, distributing the jabs to countries in need.

Denmark’s health officials announced the decision to stop using the drug on Wednesday, declaring that it was due to “a possible link between very rare cases of unusual blood clots, bleeding, low blood platelets counts” and the vaccine, warning “there is a real risk of severe side effects.”"

Covid-19 and the Falsification of Death Certificates: The CDC’s “More Often Than Not” Clause

"At the outset of the Covid pandemic, the CDC had been instructed to change the methodology regarding Death Certificates with a view to artificially inflating the numbers of “Covid deaths”.  According to H. Ealy, M. McEvoy et al

“The 2003 guidelines for establishing death certificates had been cancelled. “Had the CDC used its industry standard, Medical Examiners’ and Coroners’ Handbook on Death Registration and Fetal Death Reporting Revision 2003, as it has for all other causes of death for the last 17 years, the COVID-19 fatality count would be approximately 90.2% lower  than it currently is.”...

...

A  December 2020 CDC report confirms that 94% of the deaths attributed to Covid have “comorbidities”,(i.e. deaths dues other causes).

For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death....

...

The underlying cause of death is defined by the WHO as “the disease or injury that initiated the train of events leading directly to death”.

What the CDC is recommending with regards to statistical coding and categorization is that COVID-19 is expected to  be the underlying cause of death “more often than not.”

The CDC combines these two criteria. “underlying cause of death”, “more often than not”

...

"What happens if the terms reported on the death certificate indicate uncertainty?

If the death certificate reports terms such as “probable COVID-19” or “likely COVID-19,” these terms would be assigned the new ICD code. It Is not likely that NCHS will follow up on these cases."

...

And these criteria are imposed despite the fact that the RT-PCR test used to corroborate the “cause of death” provides misleading results."

A Government of Thugs, by Thugs, for Thugs

"In The Origins of Totalitarianism, a massive work first published in 1951, Hannah Arendt, a refugee from Nazism, noted striking similarities between Hitler’s and Stalin’s regimes. In both of those state-of-the-art tyrannies, the governing classes forged a mutually profitable alliance with society’s criminal elements. These totalitarian governments, which were concerned with ferreting out and removing opposition, took full advantage of their unsavory connections.

They enlisted inveterate criminals to spread terror, lest anyone question their ruthlessness in settling scores. The designation that the father of the late Hitler biographer Joachim Fest ascribed to the Third Reich as a “Verbrecherstaat” (criminal state) was true in two senses. Not only did the Nazis break those laws that characterize civilized societies. They also incorporated criminals into their political operation and often rewarded them. But the party leadership also eliminated some of these hellraisers when they were no longer useful, as Hitler did with the Brown Shirts in 1934.

...

The Democrats seem to have taken their cues from earlier totalitarians in the way they have built bridges to the nation’s thug population. Not only did Democratic leaders like Kamala Harris spend last summer inciting Black Lives Matter and Antifa mobs and bailing out these practitioners of violence, Democratic appointees in the military, up to and including Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, are teaching soldiers to revere BLM vandals while being put on guard against “domestic terrorists”—i.e., Republican voters. Antiwhite mobs that burn down cities and shoot police have been redefined as “antiracists” and are depicted as the natural allies of soldiers and the Secret Service.

...

In our large cities, run by the Democrats, those with illegally held firearms are routinely released without bail, even after they have committed criminal acts. Illegals with multiple criminal offenses are encouraged to stay in the country under the Biden Administration, without any danger of deportation. But law-abiding citizens who are gun-owners have earned the hostility of the Democratic Party, which holds these people, not real criminals, responsible for gun violence. If we could only remove firearms from these troublesome conservative voters while weakening and possibly defunding the police, this seems to be the message, we might be able to deal with domestic crime.

What is being aimed at here is quite practical. The Democrats plan to punish people they hate, e.g., those who cling to their Bibles and guns, while turning a blind eye to the violence perpetrated by their present or would-be voters...."

The Hunter Biden Reclamation Project: Jimmy Kimmel Is The Latest To Embrace Hunter’s Scandal Spin

"Hunter was asked again about his controversial work with Burisma but again the interview avoided addressing obvious and embarrassing contradictions.  Hunter wrote:  “Did I make a mistake by taking a seat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company? No. Did I display a lack of judgment? No. Would I do it again? No.” He insisted that he would only forego the money because “what I didn’t take into account was the way in which they would use the perception against my dad.”

Hunter then emphasized that he was qualified to serve on the board of an energy company after serving on “a dozen boards” like those for Amtrak and World Food Program U.S., and overall “expertise on corporate governance.”

For anyone remotely familiar with Hunter’s history, the only thing more maddening than that answer was the failure of Kimmel to have any substantive follow up.

For thirty years, I have written about the corruption on Washington in the use of spouses and children to gain influence with our leaders. I criticized it with Democrats as well as Republicans. Hunter Biden has long been one of the most egregious examples of that corruption. That is why it is so frustrating to watch the media whitewash this scandal.

Hunter used his father’s position to assume these positions — a history that was an open joke in Washington.  I wrote about Hunter’s history as an example of the corruption of Washington and the role of nepotism for years...

...

...Hunter Biden has the prototypical resume of the progeny of the powerful in Washington. He seemed to land jobs far beyond his experience or proven skills. Most law school graduates work for six years just to make junior partner in a firm. Yet, directly out of law school in 1996, he was given a lucrative position with MBNA America, a bank that was not only a campaign contributor to his father but a business actively lobbying for lending changes in Congress. His father, then a powerful senator, supported changes that benefited the bank.

...

Ignoring conflicts in the interview was no easy task. Kimmel made reference to Hunter’s struggle with drugs without noting that Hunter admits to being a crack addict all the way up to his father’s 2020 presidential election. Hunter left that off of his description of his work on Burisma. While Hunter was claiming blackouts of memory due to his crack addiction, he was also claiming that he was a natural choice for the board of an major energy company.  Burisma and other companies not only gave massive payments to someone without any notable skills or experience, they hired someone who was a drug addict who was, by his own account, a total trainwreck.  However, he was hired for abilities and insights on energy and corporate management?

...

Kimmel also ignores that Hunter has been going over these emails and pictures with counsel, the FBI, and campaign officials for over a year.  Other individuals have authenticated the emails as real.  It is facially absurd to suggest that Hunter has no idea if the laptop or its content are authentic.  Instead, the media has allowed him to continue to suggest that the laptop may be the creation of Russian intelligence.

The concerted effort of many in the media to manage this scandal for Hunter and the Biden family should be a concern of anyone who values an independent media. The repetition of such plainly false narratives is common in countries with state medias.  What is different is that there is no central coordinating agency. This narrative is maintained by general consent of a media that now actively shapes rather than reports news.

Kimmel is obviously not a journalist.  However, his show demonstrates how this false narrative is being replicated across news and entertainment forums. It is a well-executed effort to remove this scandal for President Biden by converting a privileged son into a type of hero of our times.  Rather than discuss his history as a deadbeat dad, influence peddler, and other facts, the media is driving home the image of an American Odysseus who overcame every challenge."

Hunter Biden, an American Odysseus. Can we expect that children's book to come out shortly after Fauci's?

Is Racism Moral Now?

"Barack Obama who, when a senator, filibustered the 2006 Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito now claims, falsely, the filibuster is a racist relic of Jim Crow, which it predated by at least 30-40 years. On the Senate floor, U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) vowed to block confirmation of nominees based solely on their white skin color.

...

The new antiracism racism, whatever its original intentions, unfortunately exhibits the historical telltale signs of its noxious genre: an a priori negative stereotyping of all whites that can then be applied to individuals deemed undeserving because they are white. It is a deductive doctrine used to justify racial bias and racial preferences, to enhance careers and profits, and to excuse and contextualize racist language and behavior.

Antiracism’s implicit defense is that the nonwhite have less power to act out their biases than do whites, while it “rights” an historical wrong. Therefore even crude antiracists cannot be harmful racists. Consult the government data on hate crimes, however, and one learns some non-white groups have a greater proportional tendency to commit such crimes against others than so-called whites. And how has a white lower-middle-class generation, born in the post-Civil Rights movement and the age of affirmative action, continued to enjoy so-called white privilege?

...

Notice how the term “white racism” began metamorphosing into “white supremacy.” The latter is a linguistic means of stating, without evidence, that “they” control everything and thus there is little need for demonstrable examples of white racism.

But “supremacy” itself proves a problematic rubric. What does one do when Asian Americans as a group make far more per capita than do whites? Or the 44th president of the United States was black—as is the current vice president? Or both the recent Democratic and Republican candidates for lieutenant governor in South Carolina, the first slave state to secede from the Union, were black?

...

And yet “white supremacy” itself is devolving into “white privilege.” The newer term no longer requires proof that all whites are always supreme—only that they all, by use of the collective “white,” enjoyed innately unfair advantages over all others based solely on their race.

But finally “white privilege” will itself prove an unsustainable rubric, given the clear privileges enjoyed by millions of non-white Americans in business, politics, popular culture, sports, entertainment, the professions, and among the elite. Surely one should not have to argue that a white Dayton, Ohio tire-changer is innately blessed in a way an unfortunate Eric Holder or Jay-Z purportedly is not?

So “white privilege” is now morphing into just “whiteness” in a malignant stereotyping hauntingly reminiscent of the 1930 theories of insidious “Jewishness,” a term denoting a mythical and underhanded power that warped and “controlled” Western Europe—even as no believable charge could be leveled against individual Jews.

...

Why have we given up on the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr, that content of character rather than the color of our skins will arbitrate how we treat other individual Americans in a multiracial United States? And is the rejection of that vision the foundation of the new racism?

...

Medievalism offers some guidance. If a guilty party still wishes to enter woke heaven—or more mundanely to get a promotion or avoid being fired—but is reluctant to sacrifice his own privileged and tribal ways, he can still find cosmic recompense through the abstract: our version of a contractual endowment to the Church that once erased away usury or profligacy.

In other words, very privileged, very wealthy white people virtue signal anger over “white supremacy” as both a psychological and practical way of squaring the circle of their own largely unbothered separate and segregated lives. The irony is that by doing so, those with privilege castigate those without it.

By dreaming up an ever-growing vocabulary of clingers, deplorables, irredeemables, chumps, dregs, and Neanderthals for the white underclass, the elite—both black and white—squares the circle of owning an estate on the cliff above Martha’s Vineyard, or a D.C. mansion.

The Clintons, the Bidens, and the Obamas can live guilt-free and in splendor on the metaphorical barricades, faced off against the less virtuous, Bible-thumping, racist losers who never got with it and learned to code or follow the fracking rigs. This morality offset credit is the racial equivalent of the climate activist John Kerry’s carbon-spewing private jet, so necessary to ferry him from one green conference to another.

Call it exemption, penance, indulgence, or any other variety of medieval quid pro quo, but the white elite’s virtue signaling is as easy to spot as it is pretentious, opportunistic, and hypocritical.

Just as deploring whiteness or confessing to “unearned” privilege exempts the concrete behavior of white elites, so too does it exempt elite blacks from addressing existential crises in the black community that transcend white racism.

...

The explosive gains in bicoastal wealth in tech, corporations, entertainment, media, the professions, and sports increasingly rendered less important the connections between class and race. A LeBron James, by traditional class definitions, was a privileged near-billionaire elite who often shilled for the Chinese government—not a victimized truth-teller entrusted to lecture us about the pathologies of whiteness. So as the nonwhite were now often elites, racial identity became more, not less emphasized, to avoid the perception that prior racial victims were now class beneficiaries or even oppressors.

Soon some minorities began questioning the racial fides of other, usually more conservative Latinos and blacks—inventing all sorts of philological categories such as “white Hispanic” and “multiracial whites.” They were reminiscent of the old white racists of the past who had strained to detect “white blacks” who successfully passed into white society, and thereby threatened to expose the entire absurdity of racial castes. After claiming that race was not a construct but immutable, the Left began contextualizing and rebranding and re-cataloging Trump-voting Cubans, George Zimmerman, and any who did not meet their own benchmarks for racial authenticity.

Soon we were left with the silliness of multimillionaire CNN anchor Don Lemon pontificating, without evidence, that “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,” or the far richer, Colin Kaepernick, of mixed ancestry, raised by two white parents, and previously fined for using the N-word on the playing field, now scapegoating his athletic descent onto a white racist society that ruined his career, even as “it” enriched him beyond the imagination of 329 million other Americans.

...

In truth, the Mexican American tractor driver in Gilroy has more in common with the white auto-mechanic, and both with the black truck driver, than any of the three has with the woke Jorge Ramos, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg, or the Antifa and Black Lives Matter hierarchy."

JAMA Editor Fired After Questioning Structural Racism

"...the esteemed Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has fired podcast host and deputy editor Dr. Edward Livingston, who raised his own concerns and doubts in a podcast over claims of structural racism.

While JAMA is supposedly independent from the American Medical Association (AMA), the AMA wrote in a statement that it was “deeply disturbed” and “angered” by the podcast and declared that “this tweet and podcast are inconsistent with the policies and views of AMA.”

The conservative site The Daily Wire has a copy of the since-deleted podcast. During the episode, Livingston reportedly asked Dr. Mitchell Katz the following question: “Given that racism is illegal, how can it be so embedded in society that it’s considered structural?”

Katz then explained how structural racism can manifest itself. Livingston then followed up by noting

“I feel like I’m being told I’m a racist in the modern era because of this whole thing about structural racism, but what you’re talking about, it isn’t so much racism as much as that there are populations, it’s more of a socioeconomic phenomenon, that have a hard time getting out of their place because of their environment. And it isn’t their race; it isn’t their color; it’s their socioeconomic status. It’s where they are.”

Katz appeared to agree with the socio-economic point."

Mich. lawsuit shows evidence of election fraud, electronic vote tampering

"Michigan attorney Matthew DePerno filed a lawsuit, challenging voter fraud and electronic meddling with 2020 elections in his state.

“Our states give access to people to the qualified voter rolls,” DePerno explained. “We believe that the state of Michigan has given over 32 groups access to the qualified voter roll.”

The lawsuit, filed last week, is based off several forensic reports. These reports revealed thousands of ballots were illegally cast for Joe Biden and there was electronic manipulation of votes.

DePerno found more than 66,000 unregistered ballots were counted in nine Michigan counties.

The suit also cited a forensic analysis by James Penrose, who found voting machines illegally used wireless technology to transmit vote totals to third parties."

Video: High School Coach Fired After Refusing To Enforce “Insane” Outdoor Masks During Sports

"Track and field coach Bradley Keyes told reporters in New Hampshire that he has been fired after he refused to force students to wear masks outside while they were engaged in sporting activities.

Coach Keyes was working at Pembroke Academy when it introduced an outdoor mask policy, which he calls “senseless, irrational, cowardice bullsh*t.”

“I will not stand up in front of the kids and lie to them and tell them that these masks are doing anything worthwhile out in an open field with wind blowing and the sun shining,” Keyes explained in a letter to the school’s athletics director.

Keyes added that “These insane policies are robbing kids of once in a lifetime opportunities for no valid reason other than irrational fears and going along with the sheep.”

The coach put his own job on the line by adding ‘fire me if you must’, and he says that the school obliged him by doing just that."

Norwegian health experts recommend stopping further use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine

"The Institute of Public Health in Norway has recommended that the government stop using the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine after a lengthy review of the jab. Oslo suspended its use on March 11.

In a press release on Thursday, the agency said that after considering, in collaboration with external experts, the continued use of the heavily-scrutinized Covid-19 jab, that it would no longer recommend its use. It said more evidence has emerged to suggest there is a link between the jab and very rare cases of potentially fatal blood clots.

“Based on this knowledge, we have arrived at a recommendation that the AstraZeneca vaccine be removed from the coronavirus vaccination program in Norway,” Geir Bukholm, director of infection control at the National Institute of Public Health, said in the statement."

Indefinite Incarceration for Protesters With ‘Wrong’ Politics

"The Arkansas man, photographed showboating inside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office on January 6, has been behind bars for more than three months. Barnett occupied Pelosi’s office for six whole minutes; he absconded with a piece of mail and left her a note that read “Nancy, Bigo was here, you Bitch.”

The desk belonged to a Pelosi aide, not the speaker herself. Several reporters and photographers who also happened to be in Pelosi’s office at the very same time prompted Barnett to sit at the desk and “act natural” as they took a series of photos.

Death threats against Barnett’s family immediately started when a press photograph of Barnett went viral that afternoon; Pelosi’s daughter tweeted the picture right after it was taken. Upon his return home, Barnett met with FBI investigators without an attorney present, allowed for a search of his home, and turned himself in.

...

A local judge authorized Barnett’s conditional release a week later but federal prosecutors, as they’ve done in many cases, immediately appealed to the chief judge of the D.C. district court, which is handling every Capitol breach case, to deny Barnett’s release.

Judge Beryl Howell sided with the Justice Department and ordered Barnett, a retired firefighter with no criminal record, transported to Washington, D.C. where he remains incarcerated awaiting trial next month. (He is one of more than three dozen Capitol protesters denied bail and currently held in solitary confinement conditions at the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility....

...

...Joseph McBride, Barnett’s attorney, petitioned the court last week to release his client pending a May 4 trial.

McBride’s brief details a long list of constitutional violations, including Barnett’s Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights. Exculpatory statements were omitted from the record; the so-called stun gun had no batteries when Barnett brought it to the Capitol—it was used solely as a walking stick.

And as for the FBI interview that so alarmed investigators, prosecutors, and the judge: “This sophisticated duo of government agents purposefully camouflages questions designed to illicit [sic] incriminating information with small talk in a deliberate effort to get Mr. Barnett to waive his rights against self-incrimination and to counsel,” McBride wrote on April 5. Barnett and his wife believed law enforcement agents were interested in the multiple death threats made against the family but in reality, the FBI was collecting evidence to be used against him.

...

Despite the fact Barnett didn’t assault anyone, vandalize government property, attack a police officer, pose any sort of lethal danger to lawmakers, let himself be photographed and interviewed by reporters, and cooperated with law enforcement, Biden’s Justice Department continues to treat him as a hardened criminal. The new acting U.S. attorney overseeing the agency’s sprawling manhunt filed a motion late Monday to keep Barnett incarcerated for at least another month.

Sweden halts J&J vaccine rollout until EU regulator reviews US reports of ‘very rare’ blood clot cases

"Sweden won’t start vaccinating people with Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 shot until the European Medicines Agency (EMA) reviews reports of rare blood clots possibly caused by it in the US, the Swedish Health Agency said.

...

...The health complications were similar to those that earlier sparked the suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine in several countries, and which has seen age limits imposed on its use after UK and EU health regulators posted updated reviews of it.

...

“We are now looking to the EMA review as well as information from the US before we consider the recommendations in Sweden,” Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s chief epidemiologist, said on Wednesday.

“Until then, the recommendation is to not use the [Johnson & Johnson] vaccine doses,” Tegnell announced, adding that he couldn’t provide a forecast on when the final decision will be made."

School custodian says she was fired for not downloading invasive tracking app

These predictions seem to be slowly materializing as reports start cropping up of people caught between a rock and a hard place: either lose their privacy, or their job.

One of them is Michelle Dionne, a custodian in a school in Canada, who got fired by the company contracted by the school to provide cleaning services because she refused to use a location tracking app on her personal phone.

This type of mass surveillance technology already has a “cute” jargon name – tattleware – and is supposed to allow companies to keep an eye on employees remotely, by attaching tracking devices to their cars, recording their computer mouse activity, as well as their GPS location."

Do Vaccine Resisters Risk Being Waco’d?

"...judging a policy by its positive outcomes for the collective, rather than by whether it violates individual rights is utilitarianism. It is the rule among politicians and pundits.

“It doesn’t work”: How often have you heard those words used to describe grave violations of your rights? As if using coercion to decrease “vaccine hesitancy”—is ever a good reason for coercing vaccination! As if employing coercion to decrease “vaccine hesitancy” is ever an appropriate use of state or corporate power!

The Benthamite utilitarian calculus is thus rightly associated with a collectivist, central planner’s impetus.

America’s founders, conversely, held a Blackstonian view of the law as a bulwark against government abuses. Their take has since been supplanted by the notion of the law as an implement of government, to be utilized by all-knowing rulers for the “greater good.”

...

It fell, however, to Greenwald to take note of the three different ways in which the passports constitute a draconian invasion:

"Number one, coercing citizens to put a substance into their body that they don’t want in their body, a pretty grave invasion of bodily autonomy, one of the most fundamental rights we have. Secondly, gathering a new database that can track people in terms of their health, that can easily be expanded as government programs often do into a whole variety of other uses, and then thirdly, . . . restricting people’s movement. Freedom of movement is one of the most fundamental rights we have. It’s actually guaranteed in the Constitution."

Herd immunity will be arrived at eventually, stressed Greenwald. So, “why is it necessary to stigmatize [those choosing not to vaccinate] and create a caste system?”

...

We vaccinate every year for the flu due to mutations, don’t we? Why expect SARS-CoV-2 to be any less efficient?

So the COVID vaccines will likely last as long as the virus’s next mutation. But will these shots remain optional?

...

...Without any qualms, American authorities have boarded up small businesses, and bankrupted, even arrested, their “scofflaw” owners for the crime of working. Do they plan to force the goop into the resisters’ veins?"

‘SHUT YOUR MOUTH’: Fauci rescued from grilling over Covid-19 restrictions & civil liberties as Maxine Waters scolds GOP colleague

"Asked repeatedly by Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) to provide an infection rate or any timeline for easing Covid-19 restrictions, Fauci, chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden, said cases remain unacceptably high but will gradually come down as more people are vaccinated.

Still pressing for an objective measure, Jordan asked, “What number do we get our liberties back? Tell me the number.” Committee Chairman Jim Clyburn (D-South Carolina) reminded Jordan that his time was up and interjected, saying, “When 90% of the members of Congress get vaccinated,” in an apparent dig at colleagues who have been slow to get their Covid-19 jabs.

...

The exchange was one of several heated moments between Jordan and Fauci, who has flip-flopped on Covid-19 advice and admitted last fall to misleading people about vaccination targets to manipulate public opinion. In another round of questions, Jordan tried to get Fauci to answer for why states that followed his Covid-19 lockdowns had the eight highest rates of new infections over the past week, while Texas, which the doctor criticized for ending its pandemic restrictions last month, had one of the lowest rates.

...

Asked to explain the discrepancy, Fauci replied, “There's a difference between lockdown and the people obeying the lockdown. You know, you could have a situation where they say, 'We're going to lock down,' and yet you have people doing exactly what they want to do.”

...

At another point in the hearing, Fauci accused Jordan of “ranting” and making the issue “personal.” Jordan, who argued that American's constitutional rights had been “trampled” in the past year, said he was merely asking the questions that his constituents want answered.

“You're the highest-paid official in the US government,” Jordan said. “You've given us your advice on baseball, on dating apps, on cruise ships. You told us zero masks, one mask, two masks, now back to one mask. I'm just asking you, when is it going to end?”"

White Privilege Doesn’t Exist

"I’m regularly dumbfounded to learn of my “privileged” status. According to those versed in nonsense, all that matters is one’s “whiteness.”

Such hokum requires suspension of fact. In Britain, white working-class boys like myself are among the least likely to go to college. We are, of all flocks, most likely to remain rooted firmly in the class to which we were born, yet our tendency to resemble a hot dog during summer is proof of our inherent “privilege.”

According to sociologists, statistically speaking I should be in jail. The one-way train to her majesty’s pleasure stops at stations including Single Mother, Expelled from High School, Absent Father, before alighting, often repeatedly, at Jail. Professors of that slippery science say I should at minimum have “ACAB” singed across my scarified knuckles, and a string of baby mamas named Chardonnay draining my welfare check to sustain my feral skulk of street urchins.

...the demand for racism to blame for a whole host of pathologies outstrips the supply, saturating a ferocious market with counterfeits and exaggerations. The antiracism industry, worth billions of millions of dollars, repurposes anything and everything as evidence of its raison d’être.

Charlatans like Ibram X. Kendi, and Robin DiAngelo flimflam millions of their hairshirt followers with their sententious books. To Kendi, the denial of racism is the ultimate proof of racism. Like Salem, if she drowns or if she floats, she’s a witch.

...

This week, the landmark Sewell Report into British racial relations found racism in modern Britain of little consequence.

“Put simply,” it reads, “we no longer see a Britain where the system is deliberately rigged against ethnic minorities.”

...

Inconveniently for those convinced with religious passion of Britain’s “systemic racism,” the report found one’s class and family background affect one’s life much more than one’s skin color.

Those with strong families and a culture of education do better than those without. British Africans outshine their British Caribbean classmates. British Indians outperform British Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. Bouncing along the bottom are white working-class boys and their Caribbean classmates—the majority of whom in both categories come from broken homes.

With confidence, the report states: “The evidence shows that geography, family influence, socio-economic background, culture and religion have more significant impact on life chances than the existence of racism.”

So stark are the outcomes within groups, that the report suggests abolishing the Twitterized label “BAME,” or black and minority ethnic. That simplistic term hides the success of British Indians (the most successful) and British Africans, lumping them under one banner with less successful British Bangladeshis and British Caribbeans (one of the worst performers).

...

It’s almost unspoken, but white working-class boys are the most deprived of all. Just 13 percent of those boys entitled to free school meals (a wretched label of poverty) get past high school, yet 27 percent of poor British Caribbean boys make it to college. Forty-two percent of Pakistanis, and 51 percent of British Africans also make it, and two-thirds of Chinese boys—all on free school meals—make it, too. Just two percent of white working-class kids get into the most prestigious colleges. So much for white privilege.

...

Of course, those committed to the fiction that Britain and America are irredeemably racist countries identical to those of the 1950s rejected the report before its release.

Progressives want progress only when progress progresses their power. Broken homes are progress. Half of all adults in therapy is progress. Riven obesity, depression—slow suicide—is progress.

A society in which one’s character trumps one’s skin color? Not progress. White saviors need someone to save.

They’ve no interest in what they claim to want most. A post-racial society gives them nothing to do. Worse, it would prove (as the disparities within racial groups suggest) that culture determines achievement—a repellant notion to the victimologists on the au courant Left.

...

The rational among us accept that reality is more nuanced, detailed, and complicated than a melanin litmus test, or anything one can shoehorn into 280 characters."
