Minds

#1: You can change the sort column in the Analytics->Trending section by changing the View type in Analytics->Traffic.
Also, adjusting the Timespan setting will result in that timespan being applied across all 4 Analytics sections.

#2: Comment threads on minds only indent 3 levels deep. If you're replying to a comment at level 3 make sure to @Username the person you're replying to or they won't be notified of your comment.

#3: You can add clickable hashtags to the text of your blogs using the link template below. Just replace HASHTAG with the actual hashtag (no need to put it in all caps).

#4: There's more you can do with this link template to add clickable hashtags to your blogs:

The f= refers to the search tab that will be presented when the link is clicked. Your choices are: "latest", "top", "channels", or "groups". The t= refers to the type of content that will be shown. Your choices are: "all", "blogs", "images", or "videos"

Privacy

#1: If privacy is important to you be sure to take a look at links before you share them or click on them. Many websites and email newsletters will add tracking content to the link which can help build a graph of people's social contacts and other undesirable stuff. If your link contains a question mark ("?") try removing the question mark and everything after it and then pasting the new link into your browser. It should still work and now you can share or view that piece of content without being tracked in that way!

Social Media (General)

#1: Compose all your social media posts using a plain text editor and save them on your computer. Not only do you then retain a copy of your work that is solely in your control but you can also use simple shell scripts to combine or otherwise manipulate your writing for other uses.
