DaVinci Resolve and H.265 (HEVC) encoded videos

On Windows 11, when I imported into Davinci Resolve a video recorded from my Google Pixel 9, I got this:

The same video, caused this prompt when I attempted to play it in Windows Media Player:

I paid the CAD 1.46 and installed the HEVC Video Extensions codec pack.

Problem solved! My video was able to be played in Media Player as well as DaVinci Resolve.
