My name is Michelle. I am a Gold Star mother, having lost my daughter, Chief Warrant Officer 3, who died less than 3 years before her retirement date. I miss her so much still, and with the state of this Union, I have this urge to reach for my phone and call her throughout the day.
I am a Californian transplanted to northern New England, and a co-founder of Pir2Peer Recovery Center in Millinocket, Maine.
