@allyinspirit_mixedmedia My art making is directly attuned to nature: Small assemblages and arrangements created from stones, shells and crystals, flowers, seeds and grasses combined with other natural materials that I find in the local bushland or surrounding urban streets.
'I love the ‘contemplative’ nature of the Japanese Zen sand/rock gardens as well as the ‘mystical’ nature of ancient sacred circles. The influence of both have been in my drawings, sculpture and now ephemeral art.' ~Ally.
During the creation of my pieces, thoughts of anything else are silenced as individual pieces of nature greet, merge, compliment and/or contrast with each other.
My hope is that the photographs and digital reproductions of my ephemeral art pieces can ‘shine a light’ on the often overshadowed exquisite beauty of our natural world.

Hi :) My name's Bev, and I love to learn. About anything and everything I can get my hands on. Not particularly political at all! I had a post surgical stroke at the age of 33, spent a year in the hospital relearning to walk and talk.. so now at 59, with way too much time on her handsI took up painting I live in Sarnia, Ont., have 3 children (all adults now) and 10 grandchildren...ranging from 23 yrs to 5 years old.
