The Compassionate Egoist

@ann_archy
Taking a long hiatus from being a wage slave. I enjoy reading, writing, learning, and the hyper-connectivity, that which is my super power. Awareness of, and participation in, politics, and political discussions. My widely curious nature, fiery passion, and tendency to research any topic which seems remotely interesting, whether or not the subject is an ideal I personally believe in. I prefer to surround myself with a large variety of individuals who hold massively different political and social beliefs, from myself, and from each other. The main reason I am on social media is to gain exposure of the happenings in the world, the desire to stay in the loop as to not fall behind in my intellectual understanding of human nature and it’s policies, is indeed a great one. Facebook used to be ideal for that. I could post whatever, and then observe how they differ in responses. Facebooks algorithm has gone ahead and ruined all that, and no matter how hard I’ve tried, it hides away the things that I don’t like, but definitely need to see, and fills my newsfeed with not even a twink of intellectual stimulation. Let me just say, that I am happy to be back on the minds platform, and genuinely grateful for all the improvements it’s teams have made in the apps function since I’ve been gone. I am going through a serious depressive episode, I can’t even refer to it as simple depression as it has lasted for months on end. Leaving me in a state of perpetual limbo, unable to care for self, let alone hold down a normie job which I’d be terrible at doing, in any mental state. So, my current goals include just working on my writing projects, and if/when I’ll be able to get back a laptop, teach myself to code, and launch a few applications dedicated to improving certain aspects of societies individuals quality of life. The works in progress are based on more of the same, teaching myself English composition too, had no real reason to learn proper grammar before, public schools are not entitled to the fruits of my intellectual labor, the burden of proof lies on the micromanaging bureaucrat, or whatever that quote says.
