Dugout Canoe Love is my crazy idea for a "business"... I travel the country, going where the big trees call me. Then, with the help of new friends, I help them become beautiful dugout canoes!
The trees teach many lessons. I find that children, in particular, get a lot out of the experience!
Some lessons, like patience and teamwork, are obvious. Others, such as problem-solving and leadership, are more appreciated (and obvious) over time. Kids actually put their cell phones DOWN to chop! It's truly amazing to watch them interact with the trees. I'm blessed to be able to share the experience like I do!
