My statement under the Lynch poster "But now.. we have Villeneuve.." was made with a hint of sarcasm btw.. unfortunately sometimes my subtleties don't shine through.. Villeneuve's adaptation was all atmosphere and production and a stellar soundtrack, but unfortunately very little...See more

"The emperor and the guild" Interior illustration for "Dune Messiah" by Frank Herbert for Centipede Press. https://art.marcsimonetti.com/dune-by-frank-herbert I cannot wait to see what they do with the Guild Navigator in Part 2 of the Dune movie to come. That’s why I feel that the best is still yet to come. It was a memorable scene from the David Lynch 1984 adaptation, so hopefully they will include the creature.

I’ve never been into collecting figurines or trinkets, but this guy makes stylish custom action figures from popular movies and shows. He created a series for characters from Dune, including Reverend Mother of the Bene Gesserit Order, Helen Mohiam - here holding the gom jabbar.
