Technology is changing everything. Finance is no exception. Peer to peer financing is an emerging reality. For much of recent history, “money” has been controlled by a small elite. From ancient kings who owned all of the land through ‘Divine Right’, to Nation States and Central Banks who use the coercive power of government, to force their fiat to be used as ‘money’, it was always controlled by the few, often at the expense of the many. New technologies like peer to peer payments of blockchain enabled assets, and crowd funding mechanism, are allowing everyone access to markets outside of the overly regulated State control structure. Not since neighbor bartered with neighbor has mankind had this much control over what he will accept as payment. Has been able to trade value for value and know he is getting the value he traded for. Without financial freedom, there is no freedom. The future is coming faster than you think, let us make it one we all want to live in.
