I have a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Rabbinical Ordination.
My interests include: Various areas of Mathematics, Some areas of Physics and Astronomy, Semitic Languages, Ancient History, Bible, Jewish Apocrypha, Mishnaic and Talmudic literature, early post-Talmudic Judaic works, Medieval Judaic works, AND Middle-Eastern and North-African Politics.
Due to my interest in Semitics and Bible, I am also interested in Ancient Egyptian history and language and literature, in Akkad, Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman history and language and literature - but only as much as it is relevant for my main interests. The same is true for my interest in early Christianity and early Islam.
