The US must be able to enforce its law. Why would the population respect any law when those trusted with enforcing it are simply above it? This isn’t a call for prison. No nation has a reason to respect our commitments to them if we won’t honor our own guiding laws. The private workforce would never let this fly. Government is by, and for, the people. It’s time to hold members of government and law enforcement to the same standards as everyday citizens.
