Recent catch from this season. This was my first year fishing the salt—coming from freshwater fishing, it was a steep learning curve. But I persevered and ended the season with 3 different species of salmon caught (Coho, King, Chum), about 10 salmon catches total. I love new challenges and learning new things. Never be afraid to try something new! I am hooked to say the least... I can't wait until the season opens back up in January.
