In other words you can be inauthentic with yourself and it's a good thing. Many people wrestle with this problem because they are obsessed with being authentic, rational and mathematical about life, and have forgotten the power of the imagination. Remember this quote? "If you are waiting to see it to believe it you will be waiting a very long time" Words like "I believe... " might not be real at first, but they will become real. Statements like "I have a dream... " might not be real at first, but repeated often enough, they can become real. Most great people "imagined" what they believed before they believed what they believe. I have met many guru's, speakers, so called enlightened people and I was really disillusioned about the fact that they are not what they say. They don't walk their talk. Very rarely are they as good as what they sell. In the end I realised that what they held sacred was not what they did, but what they believed, and what they believed they hadn't always experienced but were waiting to experience it. In other words, they were not authentic in walking their talk, but they were committed to a dream and therefore willing to accept their own inauthenticity. It's a huge realisation. Great leaders share their dreams and visions but they don't always 100% believe what they say or know exactly how it will manifest. But they hold that vision or dream more sacred than anything else.
