Incredible album for its time. Replete with dark ambient soundscapes, 'Ambient Works Vol 1' boasts a stellar array of electronic fandangling before electronic was fandangling became cool. Dark static funk and defibrillating electronicity drive this early gem of proto-techno plastic. Not every track is to everyones taste, mind you.
