All things are lawful, butnot all things are helpful

“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. 1 Corinthians 10:23‭-‬24 Just because we have the right to do something does not mean we should exercise that right. The Bible many times shows that we are to show mercy and look out for our neighbors rather than seeking our own good. This reminds me of all the grace and mercy shown to me through the years.
