I thought that when we gathered together to topple religious bigotry, we were fighting scary thoughts like people self justifying hate and crimes based on their beliefs, and we'd be in a better place after it was over. Turns out, bigotry found its place somewhere else. Maybe the establishment is doomed to be rooted in bigotry and intolerance.
