I'd suggest that the reason I don't find supposedly intelligent women desirable is because half or more of these women desire unpalatable things. Despite their competency on perhaps something like a test or exam I find that their desires tell more than their ability to solve puzzles. Desiring unreasonable, unfair, and or impossible outcomes appears to be idiotic.
