It took me a long time to realize that almost nobody is going to give a s*** about my progress as an artist. It's not to say I can't build followers as it gets better but it's not like it's going to get me what I want right away. With any luck this new job of mine won't steal away all the sensation I have in my hands even if it's already taken quite a bit. It's at least good enough of a fit for me that I can save money and not end up depressed working crazy all day all night sort of hours.
